Not to change topics, because I'm not...too much, but what is Dinotopia?

((Dinotopia was a movie/mini-series on TV that then went on to have 1 season as a TV show -- where they changed ALL the actors to different ones from the movie/mini-series, which was VERY annoying, among other problems -- and I *think* it was based on a book or a series of books. The basic premise is that a father and his two sons have a plane crash where they end up stranded on an island no one has ever heard of where dinosaurs are still alive *and* can speak (though most either speak a sort of "dinosaur" language kind of speech or animal sort of sounds) and their various adventures there. I really liked the movie/mini-series (not sure which to call it xD lol) and after awhile the TV series wasn't too bad (I just wouldn't recommend watching the movie and the TV series too close together.... xP It tends to make the differences seem even worse...)))
