Hi, guys.  Okay, here’s the thing: You must have noticed that Kate Beckinsale was not on my new avatar and banner (made by Kriss) today  It’s because I’ve decided to change my Kal’s appearance onto Cara (Tabrett Bethell) from Legend of the seeker. I really love Kate Beckinsale but me and my partner have been talking about that for weeks already, and the decision was not easy to take. But anyway, here it is, my new Kahlan, blond this time (There’s no many blond on DL, don’t you agree ;D). Tabrett Bethell is an awesome actress, I truly love her since I’ve seen her on LOTS. Besides, now I can make more vids where she’s a princess, she’s fighting, she’s working at the tavern...well, she fits more the Aos universe...me thinks... So guys I hope you will follow me on this, and I’m sorry if I disappoint some of you, but the decision Kriss and I made is final. Of course, this won’t change anything to my character in the rpg, she will stay the same... for the rest....it’s just an appearance after all. Thanks.  |

You bad girl! Why didn't you tell me that you wanna do it now! I thought you are gonna wait a week or something!  (We will talk about this later in priv ) ;D ;D ;D Anyway, I still love the idea and love Cara and Kahlan. It will be hard to get used to it but we all can deal it I remember when I changed my Kriss into Bridget Regan. I made something else for you than only banner and ava but now, I'm in school so will post as soon as I get bak home ;D P.S Thanks, girls  I like the banner, too |

Aww, thank you so much girls for your support. I was waiting with impatience for your reactions. Are they gonna like it or not? And I totally agree, the banner is awesome! @kriss: Sorry....  I was so impatient to tell the others and as everything had been agreed between us, I thought I could finally post it... (I'm gonna stay offline today, to not feel my partner's wrath...) *Joking* ;D Yeah, it will be a little hard to deal with it as we'll always see Cara and Kahlan. But wait for my new 2k's vids. You'll see a difference. I was so happy when you changed Kriss into Bridget, cause I ove that actress! Already? Aww, I so can't wait to see what you made! That´s fine to me. As someone said before it´s a bit of a change, and it will need a bit time to get adapted to it. I liked ...who was it, Kate Beckinsale? But I agree that this actress fits into the fandom better. Even though for me it´s quite a change, since I am very influenced by LotS ;D |

Well, I guess I'll agree with the others. xD Personally, I liked Kate Beckinsale a lot and well... she was Kahlan somehow. After all you made up this character with her looks. Anyhow. Indeed the char is still the same and so the change in appearance should be no problem. Aslong as she really stays the same person, that should be all fine. And as always gorgeous banner and av of course. P.S.: *giggle* When I stopped by at the Kriss&Ziad thread I first thought we'd have a new member. ;D |

Hum, well, in that case the change of cast does indeed fit as - forgive me for saying that - Tabrett Bethell as Cara looks a lot more stern than Kate Beckinsale did in her role as Anna. Oh, but P.S.: Please make that shift happen rather gradually, because up till now Kal seems to be more like a sweet person who could in fact teach Kriss again how to laugh and just enjoy things... it'd be a little odd if suddenly she became as harsh as Kriss can be at times. And, after all, I guess friend always influence one another so most likely both your chars will learn and adopt something from the other. ;D |

Thank you so much dear! @doubar: Indeed she looks tern, but well, Cara is not really an angel in LOTS. ;D Anyway, you don't have to worry, indeed, I plan to make Kal change a little gradually, she will be more confident with herself as days passed, and she will probably be darker sometimes, only when it's needed, but then she will always stay the lovely princess she is. |

@kal: Well, though I've never been much of a follower of LOTS, but I know that that's right indeed. ;D And aw great. Well, yeah, it would be only understandable if she gets more confident as she gets used to her current situation. And the more she understands that she's got an ally in Kriss (and Ziad I suppose), the more - could I imagine - will her will to fight back grow. So yeah, it all sounds reasonable aslong as the change's no sudden one, and basic characteristics stay the same.  |

@doubar: Don't worry, I love my Kal too much to make her change so radically. Speaking of this... So everyone agree that Tabreth Bethell is lovely, right? I love her as well, but there is one thing I'm sure of....She will NEVER be my Kal!  APRIL'S FOOLS !!! It's the first of April guys, and I can't believe you all thought I had actually changed her appearance! ;D ;D ;D Kriss and I had a lot of fun today, didn't we partner? *high fives* So yeah, Kate Beckinsale is the one and only Kal for me. But be sure that the day we are able to have a 3rd character, I'll take Cara! ;D |
