"Was it Ashven?" she asked quickly. If there was a problem around here, he always seemed to be the cause. "What did he do to you?"

Khei nodded and did her best to explain what had gone on the night before.
"Yeah it was him. I had no idea he was capable of dreamwalking. Broke my arms and a rib. The blood was likely from my rib as it had ripped me open.. When he took my bracers, in the transformation.. The injuries were healed. Obviously though the blood was already on the sheets.."
She bowed her head.
"I'm sorry Thea. I owe you for having to replace the bed and sheets."

Dreamwalking? Thea guess it was what it was implied. It was interesting to wonder about but other, bigger concerns waged on in her mind.
"Don't worry about the sheets," she urged, touching Khei's shoulder. "I'm just glad your alright," she added warmly. Her toned changed as she continued. "Now, we need to get your bracers back from that little wretch."

Khei nodded, giving Thea a weak smile. Her smile faded though as her mind settled on the challenges that she imagined would stand between them and such a goal.
"I'm not too sure exactly how we're going to accomplish it though. It's not like I can just stroll outside like this."

"A cloak perhaps?" Thea suggested. "I mean we could try something else, but all I know is that we have to get your bracers back. Ashven is somewhere out there and its going to be difficult to find him. Though Khei, he did mention before about something you learning your lesson. Do you have any idea what he meant by that?"

Khei shook her head.
"Something about the men Coram mentioned last night. I can't recall specifically."

"Coram?" Thea echoed. She pondered for a bit. "Well, it looks like we might need to delve further into that..."

Khei nodded.
"Sounds like we're going to have a full day today then."
She sighed, giving Thea a lopsided smile.
"On the bright side, Things couldn't possibly get any worse."

Thea nodded. "Very true." She smiled. "Things can only get better. Hopefully." She stood up and stretched her legs. "Speaking of today, to begin it, I say we get off to a good start." She held her hand to help Khei up. The comparison to the hands now had drastically changed.

Khei nodded in return with a smile, accepting the offered hand. Once on her feet again she dried her eyes with her sleeve and sniffled one last time.
"That sounds like a good idea."

Thea grinned. Though she wondered how they were to start the day well, when it already started off as not a very good one. She she rolled up her sleeves and said, "I know this might not be the funnest thing to do, but I say we go visit Coram." After last night, he might be able to clear a few problems up.

Khei nodded. "Sounds like the best place to begin."
She frowned as she investigated herself, her tail tip flicking in mild agitation.
"The sooner we learn whatever we need to learn, the sooner I can get my bracers back and get back to trying to make a "normal" life for myself."

Thea grinned then took in Khei's appearance. To get to Coram, they would need to go outside. Though Khei was a magnificent sight, being in public might prove a danger. "We need to disguise you," Thea said.

Khei nodded, frowning a bit. She looked around before going about getting her boots and vest on. Afterwords she sighed but managed a light smile. She thought for a moment before curling her tail around her waist and gently tucked the tufted tip into the side of her belt.
She chuckled lightly before looking back to Thea.
"That should take care of that much. Now we just need to hide my face and arms."

Thea pondered for a moment. "Maybe a cloak? We could just raise the hood and the sleeves will cover you arms, perhaps?
