;D ;D ;D ;D ;D and what about the birdie,,, it's easier to play ;D ;D *snortgiggles* Though I want to see how you manage to perch on someone's hand. ;D ;D ;D (Bwhahahaha, sorry, sweetheart... but the mental image... *cries laughing* xD xD xD ) D'awwwww... but your ideas about such possible relationship... this is very cute indeed. And I can totally picture that character being rather oblivious to someone having fallen in love with him as he sees his duties to lie with his people. Ah, and I totally love such scenarios where a tough situation makes a fictional character realize they do love the other person. :3 Though, yeah, the idea that after the loss of his feathered friend he's finding a new confident in a human soul is most beautiful as well. *likes* Well, I guess we will never get to know though. But that shall not stop us from imagening, right? ;D Owww, but yes, Horus being shot. Yeah, maybe it's because it was so sudden and Ardeth's reaction so well portrayed. *sniff* And moreover are you right - Horus was so innocent. A real victim. Haaaahaha, alright. Just wonder how you'll manage to not have him suspect something. You know, I would assume he is experienced enough to notice when something's wrong with his food and drink. ;D Haha, okay, that's good to know. xD And yeah, my comment was totally unexpected and pretty much without any connection to what we had talked about before. xD

Again too much talking! WHERE'S THE BEEF! lol Time to spam pics! Because I have an image search open.. I'm spamming Nathan Drake again. Mostly because I was playing the original Uncharted a few days ago since Vox brought his PS3 down so I could play it! *Grins* Nathan's even more awesome on a 55 inch flat screen instead of the dinky lil 5 inch screen on my Vita. Yes. I am aware that I have a problem. XP But it's such a nice problem to have.

I didn't see the point at killing some main characters in the movie, but well, what's done that's done.
Finally got to watch the movie as well (who would've thought? It was on TV tonight)! And, argh, why? I absolutely hate it when main characters get killed off. And besides, I wanted to know who Shepard was before coming onboard the Serenity. XP But apart from that it was pretty awesome. And FINALLY Simon admits it. Yay. ^^ @ash: Wow, again, great graphics there! O.o

@ Doubar
Yeha no kidding. The graphics in U3 just blows my mind...
I mean Lookit the teaser trailer for U3. I think even a non-gamer would be tempted to try the game..
and Drake frigging interacts with EVERYTHING!
There's one point in the third game where you play Drake as a kid during a flashback and he's being chased across the rooftops by Marlowe(The main baddie)'s Thugs and you end up jumping into someone's apartment. lol As you run through the kitchen, if you run past to stove, Drake yanks the oven door open to hit the guy chasing him. If you run past the fridge instead he throws the freezer door open to hit the guy in the face.
Found a Vid of that entire chapter..
Even just walking through a forest, if you pas too close to a tree he'll raise a hand up to push away from it.
Naughty Dog has put soo much detail into this game and yet still didn't miss a beat with the story.. It's just mind boggling!
Even the dynamics in the boss fight for U2 was amazing. First time ever that I've played a game where the AI actually learns and starts countering.
I developed a pattern on where to run to, stop, turn, and wait to shoot at just the right time.. Baddie learned and started adjusting his attack pattern to cut me off while running or circling around to flank me when I stopped to aim and wait to shoot him.
I love these games soo frigging much..
Sometimes just the dialog that Drake blurts out while you play is hilarious.

Wow.
Been actually playing Uncharted 3 and this story is DEEP.
Mind control, a look into our hero's scarred past, historical mysteries, secret societies, and spiders... MY GOD THE SPIDERS!! Poisonous lil buggers at that.
Not gonna post spoilers lest you want them but as much as I love U2, U3 is already my favorite of the series.

@ Doubar
Oh yeah.. Hell all the Uncharted games have a detailed storyline. Admittedly there's quite a bit of gun play where you run around shooting stuff but there's a ton of puzzle solving involved as well and more often than not Uncharted games are more interactive movies than straight up games. (If you don't mind spoilers I can delve into the story of the first game (who's story isn't AS deep as the other two) or Golden Abyss which IS an Uncharted game but it was developed by Bend Studios so it lacks some of the love that Naughty Dog pours into their games... And is on the Vita not the PS3)
Even with the gun-play tho.. There's a lot of strategy involved...
Well as shooting a guy only to slide under him, between his legs, while delivering a lethal blow to his crotch is endlessly hilarious. Well and in U3, Drake sometimes tosses his weapon to a guy, uppercuts him into next week, re-catches his gun, and continues on his merry way. Other times he dukes it out hand-to-hand pulls the pin on the guy's grenade while still on his belt, kicks him away, then runs for it while the guy fumbles with it before it explodes. XP

Sure, feel free to tell me of the story. Considering I have neither a Vita nor a PS3 I don't think I will be playing the Uncharted games anytime soon (and should I get around to playing them somewhen in the future I will surely have forgotten about the spoiler by then x).

lol Okay.. I might forget a few things since I've only played through once (currently playing through a second round on the nest difficulty level) but here goes a quick summery minus all the amusing humor and whatnot...
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune...
Game opens on our hero, Nathan Drake, and a journalist named Elena Fisher having just brought up the coffin of one Sir Francis Drake (Who was a very real person) who was supposedly buried at sea back in the 1500s. Elena remarks about them "Desecrating" Drake's coffin and how her research revealed that Sir Francis Drake never had any children thus casting doubt on Nate's claim to be a descendant of him.
"History can be wrong. For example. You can't desecrate an empty coffin."
It's revealed that the coffin is, indeed, empty with the exception of an old chest with a leather bound journal inside. Sir Francis Drake's journal.
Nate and Elena are interrupted by the sudden appearance of modern day pirates. (And thus your first tutorial about shooting and hand-to-hand combat.) Late into the scuffle Nate's best friend, Sully, shows up with his pontoon plane to pick them up, the ship they were both on having blown up at this point.
Fade to black.
Next chapter has Elena on a dock talking to her boss, Explaining what had happened to the boat and this huge story she's on. Nate and Sully are on a small fishing boat meanwhile, Nate explaining to Sully how he knew where to find the coffin and why the journal is so important. He points out a particular map scribbled within that purports to lead to the legendary El Dorado.
To keep their find a secret, Nate and Sully ditch Elena on the docks, taking off to follow the map.
Fade to black.
Next scene opens with Nate and Sully moving deep into the jungle in an effort to find El Dorado with the help of Drake's journal. After a bit of a tutorial on climbing and such we do, in fact, discover the location of El Dorado but the place is in ruin and there is no gold to be found. Only traces of the Spanish having been there a good 400 years prior.
Nate suddenly realizes tho that "El Dorado" must have not been a city of gold but a huge golden statue. He and Sully notice the drag marks on the floor and decide to follow them in hopes to discovering where the Spanish would have taken the statue.
A short trek through the jungle find the two at a river where a German U-boat looks to have been stuck for decades. Nate hands Sully his journal for safekeeping while he dives into the water to find a way onto the sub to investigate. His investigation leads to discovering a map of an island where it appeared the Nazis were looking for the same treasure. (He also unintentionally triggers the timer on a torpedo and has to make a hasty exit.)
Upon reaching land again Nate find he and Sully aren't alone. a Man named Gabriel Roman, his second in command, Atoq Navarro, and Roman's thugs have two two surrounded. Sully having spilled the beans to Roman whom Sully owes a lot of money to. Roman relieves Nate of the map and shoots Sully at point blank range. The sub explodes in the background. (Remember the torpedo?) Nate snatches the map back and reluctantly leaves his dead friend behind as he takes the chance to make a run for it before he suffers the same fate.
Upon rounding a corner he runs into Elena again who has trailed the two. Still pissed about being ditched on the dock she slugs the snot outta Nate. They reach a truce for the moment and help each other escape Roman's thugs long enough to reach Elena's Jeep and get the hell outta there.
Fade to black.
Next Chapter Finds Nate and Elena flying Sully's pontoon plane toward the island he had found the coordinates to back on the German sub. Things go south when they are fired upon with anti-aircraft weapons. The plane is hit and they are forced to bail. Elena bails first, parachuting to safety. Nate tries to keep control of the plane for a bit longer before he realizes he's being stupid and jumps.
(Which is hilarious in itself. "Okay. How hard can this be?! Just jump, count to five, pull the cord right? Right.... OH CRAP! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! ONETWOTHREEFOURFIVE!!!!" And naturally his parachute has a hole in it so he's screaming the whole way down.... "CRAP!CRAP!CRAP!CRAP!CRAP!" )
Fade to Black.
Next scene finds Nate alone and hanging from his parachute which has become snagged on a huge statue. Elena is nowhere to be found. He gets himself unhooked, landing safely on the ground, unscathed, and checks himself over. He's content to find his gun still in it's holster but is annoyed with himself having left his map on the plane.
"Great.. Crashed the plane. Elena's gone. Most likely dead. Left your map on a burning plane and you have no idea where you are.. Great start Nate.. Great Start."
After a fair amount of running/climbing through the jungle Nate reaches what's left of the plane and after a bit of a gun battle with some pirates he manages to climb up into the plane (Which is lodged among a few trees) and retrieve the map.
He makes his way up to a fortress (Which marks the beginning of Chapter 5) and spots Elena's Parachute hanging on a tower of the fortress which he must scale to enter. After doing so and a few gunfights he manages to reach the tower but Elena's harness is empty.. He spots her in a window across the courtyard filming the place and starts trying to track her down. (Somewhere before they jump on the jet ski Nate is captured by a pirate named Eddie Raja and is busted out of the jail cell by Elena. My memory is foggy about when exactly it happens)
Lots of running and climbing and gunplay later he finally catches her and they spot a boat. A way off the island.. They also spot a jet ski they can use to reach the boat. Nate is content with leaving with their lives while Elena wants to go after the treasure after they have come this far.
They use the jet ski (During which is more gunplay while riding the ski.) but by the time they reach the dock where the boat was, it's gone. They look for a place higher up to find where the boat had gone if it was still near the island.
I don't remember the next section all that clearly as it was 2am when I was playing and I started dying a lot so my mind is a bit foggy but Somehow Nate and Elena learned that Sully was, in fact, alive and seemed to now be working for Roman and Navarro.
They needed to get into a library and once they arrived, after some gunplay, They confront Sully and learn that the journal stopped the bullet thus saving Sully's life. He was forced into helping Roman and Navarro because there was generally a lot of weapons being aimed at his head and you generally tend to do as told when your life is at stake.
Sully informs Nate and Elena that he's been stalling and sending Roman and Navarro on wild goose chases waiting for them to show up.
Again my memory is a bit foggy but eventually several puzzles and gunfights later Nate ends up finding a German submarine base. (Now we know where that U-boat came from) and upon investigating the place he discovered the mutilated remains of Sir Francis Drake who had met his fate at the hands of these freakish mutants who in short time begin attacking. Eddie Raja gets dragged away and murdered by the mutants and Lots of shooting and running away screaming like a sissy later Nate gets the generators running in the base and while exiting he discovers an old film reel with film in it and a logbook.
The two together make it clear that El Dorado is not a golden statue but a golden sarcophagus, the contents of which, if inhaled by a human, turns them into these bloodthirsty mutant.. things..
Troubled by this new information Nate feels he needs to stop Roman and Navarro from finding and removing El Dorado, and it's horrible contents, from the island.
More gunfighting and trying to stay away from mutants Nate, Sully, and Elena finally track down Roman and Navarro who've located El Dorado. Navarro tricks Roman into opening the sarcophagus and inhaling the contents and tho Roman manages to close it, it's too late as he begins to loose his humanity right there. He screams and curses Navarro but ends up with a bullet to the head from Navarro.
Nate tries to reason with Navarro but Navarro will have none of it. He wishes to sell El dorado to the highest bidder knowing full well what sorts of horrible things could happen should it fall into the wrong hands.
With El Dorado about to be air-lifted to Navarro's ship, Nate takes it upon himself to leap onto the thing and go after Navarro himself. One hell of a boss fight later and Nate shoves El Dorado off the ship, plunging it into the depths of the sea. The ropes still attached to the sarcophagus end up wrapped around Navarro's leg and yanks him off the ship as well to be dragged to the ocean floor along with his prize.
Sully and Elena show up with another, smaller boat that had belonged to Eddie. Luckily it was also filled with treasures. Nate and Elena share a moment that lets you know they've grown rather fond of each other ('cause.. Ya know.. Harrowing escapes and defying death will do that to ya) and the three sail off into the sunset.
End Game..
Now there's a lot more to it than just that.. the dialog between characters, the music, and general pace of the game make it the masterpiece it is. But at least that gives you a basic idea.
