Rongar once vowed it to his people and now he vowed it to his friends – even if none of them knows. It’s something that binds him to the crew and the Nomad itself. It’s his reason for never letting anyone stand alone. No matter what they will have to face - the moor will stay with his friends until the very end. This is Rongar’s new Shandara. It’s one he will never break.
Bio:
Together with his younger sister Zora Rongar grew up in the realm of Bollnah. Both were born to a family of sovereigns and had been taught everything good leaders needed. So when their parents died, Rongar, who decided to still keep the title “Prince”, and his sister followed the old traditions and vowed the Shandara to their people. For many years both reigned wisely and shared the burden of leading a whole country. Prosper and bliss they brought to the land until one day a merchant, introducing himself as Ali Rashid, showed up in Bollnah. He gathered people to take over control and when Rongar found out about his plans, made up a trap. He demanded that Rongar, Prince of Bollnah, should banish the Thieves of Kaaf who secretly worked for the merchant. And when Rongar hadn’t been able to fulfill this, Ali Rashid accused him of collaborating with them and demanded his withdrawal. As a further pressuring medium the villain took the younger Zora who unfortunately had fallen in love with the stranger. Ali Rashid threatened to kill her if Rongar didn’t give up and with this won in the end. Rongar surrendered and promised to leave the islands, knowing that, if he wanted for him and his sister to stay alive, he mustn’t ever return. But for Ali Rashid this wasn’t enough. Before Rongar left the country the villain had the moor’s tongue cut off and left him to either die from the bleeding or survive and go into exile. Rongar survived. He left the islands and headed towards Basra to find work and start a new life there. But never did he forget about what happened and he knew that one day he would return and end what should never have been.
Soon he had found a good friend – Mustapha – who, only two years after Rongar had left the realm of Bollnah, introduced a young sailor to him who needed a good crew to fulfill a quest the Calif of Baghdad had set on him. This sailor had been Sinbad and although at the beginning being a bit skeptical about the moor, he took him to become part of the Nomad crew. Since then Rongar had been sailing the seven sees with the crew, fighting against all sorts of evil and injustice with them. And when one day a charge brought them back to the realm he years before had left, the prince took his chance. Together with his friends he defeated Ali Rashid and freed Zora from the burden she had had to carry. Although afterwards he would have had the chance to stay in Bollnah, leading the country like he once had, he decided to stay with the crew. He handed the duties of their reign over to Zora and returned to the realm that now had become his home: the Nomad.
