@firouz
I was referring to the chat on the cabin. The scientist didn’t lose his childish fervor for inventions I see. ;D ;D
About Bryn being jealous, it was just a supposition. But not being in Bryn’s mind, Dermott was just wondering about her change in behavior.
As for Scratch’s hints, this happened in “Hell HOUSE”, the last episode of season 2.
It was the scene when Sinbad and Mala were searching for the one who was supposed to be Maeve. In the meanwhile the crew got captured in a giant spider web and then Scratch addressed to Bryn (I don’t remember the exact words)
S: Little witch, frankly I’m surprised you are with those do-gooders, … a girl….with your pedigree…
B: What this is supposed to mean?
S: mmmm…… nothing (ironically)
In the same scene Doubar also recalled Rumina (The only time in the whole 2 season)
About the last matter, of course you can invite other characters to join the story, a rpg is made of improvisation, otherwise a lot of fun would be spoiled.
But for their speeches, I must agree with Nili, sorry. We had to plan at least some basic lines or it would become a bit difficult to follow our own characters.
For example, Dermott would have called Sinbad a dumb beast, at the beginning of Season 1, and for a lot of reasons. But it had been 2 years ago, and now I don’t think he would have used this kind of words. And according to our previous chat on the deck, I thought that Dermott himself didn’t tell Bryn that much about Maeve, and felt a bit sorry for this. That’s why he was planning to satisfy Bryn’s curiosity soon. But a I think that at the same time he felt empathy and comradeship for the captain, because if he lost a lover, but Derm lost his beloved sister.
Anyway, now, the conversation is already going on, don’t worry, as the captain said I’ll make up something about it. I’ll send you a PM and then I’ll decide what to write.
@nili and Crew
I ‘d like to stole an idea some people had on another fandom, to find new players. While Eleana is working on the promotional video to advertise the forum on You tube, why don’t we do the same on FF.net?
I mean, opening a collective account under the name of Distant Lands, dividing the treads into more shorter chapters (and adjusting them a little bit) and then linking the whole thing back to this page. We could put a list of the cast, and also who is playing who (at least for those who have a ff.net pen name), specifying that we are still searching for Turok, Scratch and Dim-Dim.
We could wait until the baddies close their treads too, and then post the first chapters. There are a lot of lurkers on ff.net, perhaps somebody would like to join us, and they simply don’t know about the RPG.
What do you think?
