I hope my response will not lead Sinbad to close up again. But there is a lot of logic to it. I see Bryn as helping Sinbad solve his problem/puzzle.

Somehow I wanted to say, "No, you are not that hopeless. You are Sinbad who runs against walls." But I decided against it, since that is what you/Nili/Sinbad wrote.

"...also was he of the opinion that it was actually necessary to contemplate all these things." Is that English? "Instead, he raised an eyebrow at him." It would be hard to raise your eyebrow at yourself.
Do you know where you a going Sinbad, because it seems you are going around in circles. This may take longer than I thought. Our conversation could go on for weeks. Well, at least that gives the baddies more time.

;...also was he of the opinion that it was actually necessary to contemplate all these things Is that English? It is, as far as I´m aware Instead, he raised an eyebrow at himWhoops, that´s indeed a typo. Thanks. I´ll change it later. Well, it wouldn´t be natural to have him blurb out all at once. Also, maybe it would be good to ask less questions at once. He sometimes doesn´t know which one to answer first

I never heard that English before, so I thought you might have meant "...also that he had the opinion that..." In my post, I typed "My asumption..." I know I misspelled, but the board changes "My asumption" (with two S's, not one) to "I disagreeumption." Got ya. I will go slower.

I guess She was called Mala

She was their mother, yes, if that´s what you mean. Doubar knows that, but Sinbad has no idea he met his mum

No I didn't mean that. I remember the character, but I was wondering why you called her Marla, and if you were referring to her in the night ship tread. I was used to know her as Mala.

You could definitely be right there, I wasn´t sure about the spelling.

I think this is a good time to end our little chat. Maybe you would go talk to your big brother or Firouz. I think I let Firouz go to bed, so you might want to wait until morning. I am not sure if Doubar is sleeping or not.
I envision Sinbad returning to the tiller and thinking about what Bryn just said. But you are Sinbad, so you decide.

Hum, I don't actually know how late it is in the story, but Doubar might still be awake. Just tell me if he's being wanted. But as the two of them have already discussed the issue I think there's not that much the brothers can sort out. Although I haven't caught up with the latest posts I as well could imagine Sinbad needing some time on his own, maybe just being accompanied with featherbrain. But, just as you already said Bryn, that is up to our dear captain.

Sinbad may need to talk to you about Mala. That is where we left off.

*comes back from reading the latest stuff* Haha, you're giving him a rather big hint there. Well, if he decides to really sort this out, Doubar will be ... somewhere, maybe in his cabin I think. But - unless Sinbad decides elsewise - I'd think we should at least for now leave it to the info that Doubar knows her. For now having to deal with what he feels about Maeve and his own change I think is enough. Having to think of his mother, who he had never known before, might be a bit too much. And after all this crew (hopefully) has so many more stories ahead of it... finding out about their mother could be a whole plot on its own.
