I bought the Season 1 of LOTS a few days ago! *couldn't help myself* ;D I watched the awesome (but unfortunately too short) making of, and I also listened to the audio commentary of 4 episodes. In the episode "the pupeteer", the commentaries were made by Bruce Spence and Craig Parker. That was so funny! ;D Of course they talked a little about LotR as they both played in it. And at one moment, when Darken Rahl approaches the third Box of Orden (for those who know it ) Craig just says: "oh, this is la boîte d'Orden, that's for the French viewers." ;D ;D ;D I love Craig Parker!!! ;D

Alright, I’ve spent the last six days basking in the brilliance of the two seasons of Legend of the Seeker, all the while reading a book on the perceptions of social hierarchy in the heyday of the British Empire.
I have only one thing to say.
Legend of the Seeker is my new ultimate favorite show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I simply can’t wait to start reading the books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And here are a few observations of mine concerning the series: -Craig Horner, will you marry me? -Kahlan and Richard’s love is absolutely beautiful in every way, despite its tragic impossibility. -Zed is the grand-father I wish I could have had. -Mord’Siths are awfully scary, and Denna is the scariest of all. -“Princess” is by far the funniest episode!!! Zed was hilarious in the dress and make-up!!! -Speaking of make-up, why was there so much of it in the second season?? Cara and Kahlan had way to much unsubtle lip-stick and eyeliner if you ask me!! -In “Walter”, Craig Parker was brilliant!!! I had the time of my life watching him portray such antagonistic characters! -Darken Rahl, well, the man is evil, but there seems to be a shred of humanity in him nonetheless. And boy, the man has biceps! -I was stunningly surprised when John Rhys Davis’ face illuminated the screen in “Vengeance”! Beautiful performance as always! -“Perdition” was a very epic episode, especially with the battle against Sister Nikki and the Sisters of the Dark at the end! I really liked it! -I was immensely relieved when the second season didn’t end with a cliff-hanger but with a happy ending!
All in all, Legend of the Seeker possesses everything I look for in a show or movie. It has epic-ness, adventure, love, friendship, action, magic, humour, characters with substantial dept, original mythology, good vs evil, and so on. Thumbs up! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
