I agree with all you said except one thing...the make up...I love Kahlan's make-up in the second season. of course,it's a little too much, but I just love it.
One thing though, don't be too disappointed with the books, it's far more different than the show.
I've read the five first, and I prefer the show by far. However, I still think I should read the rest one day.
all in all, I'm so so glad you like it (and I think I won't be the only one). ;D
It's a really good show, but unfortunately people today only swear by those drama shows...

@doubar: no...well, people are still fighting, and even some actors said that there was still hope, even if it's only for a movie or something...but we didn't hear anything new for long...Bridget Regan (Kahlan) is now red-headed, and makes some apparitions in tv shows. No news from Craig Horner (Richard) or Tabrett Bethell (Cara).

PS: Season 2 is coming out on DVD at the end of the month in France !!! can't wait!!! watching all the making off and listening to the commentaries will make me feel sad and melancholic again...

I'm sorry to hear though that nothing's certain yet. I do hope for you guys that you'll at least get a movie or anything, that wraps everything up. Would be a shame if LotS had to face the same fate as AoS.

Kahlan: Aye, I liked the dark shades over Kahlan's eyes too, but it was just a tiny teeny little bit too much. But that's just me saying...

As for the books, I'm about halfway through the first one and I like it a lot so far. It's different alright, but I manage to keep the series separate from it. And I like Terry's writing style; it's very light and simple and effective.

And I couldn't agree more with you about the drama shows. Nowadays, we mostly get to watch stuff about hospitals and cops...
