Lulz! I cannot help myself but laugh out loud at this ep. I mean - have you ever paid attention to Maeve's looks at the beginning? Oooooh, that look of spite! It's just so Maeve (P.S.: Did you notice that almost any other woman received that look during S1?  ;D ) *points at Maeve in the background*  And OF COURSE Sinbad HAS to offer his service to that princess (who isn't even all that pretty - IMO at least [sorry there Lisa  ]). Which causes the following look... ;D ;D ;D  And last but not least, those Marzacks... My God! Those panties!!! ;D ;D ;D  Mwahaha, and when they left and crashed those pillars... one did see that they were nothing but cardboard. ;D Really, that show was sooooo B-movie sometimes and yet I just LOVE it! ;D ;D ;D |

With all it's characters and the world of magic it just gave us (or at least me that is  ) a good feeling watching it. And, really, I wouldn't want to miss that.  |

None one would know from AoS.  To be honest it's a quote from Stargate (remember the girl I chose to be Brea? That's Cassandra! ;D ) but I just liked it so much and found it to be somewhat fitting not only for Mala but maybe also for the whole rpg that I took it as a quote. P.S.: Mmh, you might be right though. It's a bit confusing to not add the series I took it from, isn't it?  *goes to adjust* |

Had a strange thought: the Ruby Beam Canon was powered by the sun and the ruby right??
At roughly 1:40 seconds it sends out a beam of light that sets fire to a tree/bush...
My thought was this: what would happen if Maeve poured her energy into it and used it kind-of like a light/fire shot gun??
**Imagines all the things that she could set fire to and pales a bit...er...umm...**

I should start a thread about how different french version is from the original english one. In this ep, Dermott shows he doesn't appreciate the ruby beam canon by pooping on it. Honestly, I laughed so much, especially when I heard the sounds he made, I even asked myself if the person who posted the video on youtube had added that farting sound just to trick us.
In french, we only see Dermott land on the ruby beam, Firouz exclaims, then he cleans the canon. The ''pooping'' sound was erased, so all that time I just thought to myself ''could he ? Naaaa he couldn't ... Firouz is just cleaning afterwards because Dermott's claws were dirty''.

Looool, Dermott did really poop on the beamer? *falls off her chair laughing* I never realized that! I hardly watch S1 in English and in our dubbing there's no adding sound either. So to me it was only like, he was taking the beamer as a perch rather than an invention that he might better not land on. But that he did actually... Oh dear! ;D ;D ;D

Exactly ! That's what happened in french too. Maybe it is actually a trick, a sound added later on, but I don't see why ? I've watched all season 1 episodes on youtube from that user and nothing else was altered.
