This thread is not going to contain spoilers, therefore Maeve can read it without any fears, too
All right, the issue, as many of you know, came up a few days ago in the plotting thread. Just to sum it up. We had an original plan on how to reunite Maeve with the crew and that plan was connected to something Rumina had in mind (I am not going into detail because I think she will be back at some point and despite what I am going to explain I do not want to ruin her wonderful ideas ), but since Rumina has been absent for a long while and I guess it will take a little longer until she returns and is able to properly help advance the plot, I wrote her an email a few days ago asking her permission to let us take the return-of-Maeve part out of her plans so we could let it happen in another way to be able to advance the plot.
I can say at this point that the plot Rumina began will not be damaged by this and this is what was important to me, too.
I have not received a reply from Rumina yet and since I do not know whether or not she has proper internet access I am not sure how long it will take for a reply.
The reason why I have opened this thread is that there is a little plan going on how to bring back Maeve and connect it to the ongoing plot naturally. I have asked Maeve via pm whether she wants to bring in own ideas and such and she prefers to be left in the dark and use the surprise element in her rp-ing which is fine with me.
As a matter of fact, I think this is a nice idea and I think it could be interesting for all of us to do it that way just as it was originally planned with Rumi´s ideas, namely that Maeve´s return will happen without the player´s really knowing when and where. You will notice what happens in the game, you will be surprised by the plot twist, but it´s one of the little events in the rpg that might add a bit of a thrill and supsense to you guys because you couldn´t guess how things were going to happen.
So basically me and a second player (not giving any names here ) are discussing a little idea that could make things work and I am writing this to give you guys a sort of update on everything and so you don´t go "Huh, wait, what did I miss? " moment. In short: stay tuned and expect the return of Maeve.
