*already finished reading van helsing the novel, is congested with tears she doesn't want to shed freely*

That was so emotional! so detailed. I loved this novel in every bit.
Not that it's the best well written novel. actually i have read a fanfic made by a fan and its paper' numbers roughly more than the number of the pages of the novel itself and in all ways it was a brilliant work from merely 13 years old and most of all it made Anna live in very good way away from "bringing her from death"

But this one was full of emotions, all of these descriptions about how the characters felt and their aims, purposes, troubles
It sank deeper than the movie in the characters' pains confusion.

and the prologue really explains lots of things in the movie like Victor and his story with Dracula besides Anna and her relation to her family and her brotherly mutual love between her and velcan

The movie was great at least for me but the novel is greater. It's not the best and may be lots won't like it but the feeling, the connection between it and the movie , the additional and detailed events that explain lots of holes in the movie.

and most of all-for me- is the wild and undeclared new born romance that rose between Anna and van helsing that that it was a way to hope and salvation for both of them

The novel explained it better than the movie with knowing what feelings both of them felt for the other, that was for every reason amazing
Sometimes being romantic something hurts, especially in such bittersweet endings like this one that you have to read and can't stop few tears from dropping from you eyes at this special sacrifice

@doubar: I don't know whether it really depends on the movie but the events seemed like it's the real script or whatever the novelist wrote then the movie was made out of it then the novel was released after it in libraries *shrugs*

alex; Aw, good to hear you enjoyed it. But, actually the cover you posted says that this is a novel based on the screen-play. And indeed sometimes novels are being written after a film was released. Anyway, good that you liked it.

Thanks! I read that, too. but what i read inside made me think it's the script or the real novel then they published it after the movie making it based on it!

I'm currently reading The Road to Avalon and it is magnificent. I love modern literature about Arthurian legend.

And speaking of Arthurian legend has anyone heard about the new TV series? And the gorgeous French actress Eva Green is playing Morgan. I think I just died and went to heaven.

Seems cool, a little like Rome or Spartacus. And they're a lot of famous actors in it. We'll see, but I don't think it's gonna be as funny as Merlin. ;D

I am a big fan of Arthurian's legend too. I've went to the Broceliande's forest three times already. ;D

Speaking about reading books, I am reading I am number four, there is a movie about it which will come out next month, and I can't wait to see it!

@ Thea I'd recommend Amazon.com but I dunno how they are with international shipping. Her ein the US tho I usually receieve my orders within 3 or 4 days.

I usually get my books from a local video/music/book store called Hastings. ($8.99 USD isn't bad for a book as big as these are) They have an online store as well but again I don't know if they even offer international shipping.

@doubar: Well, I like the actor who plays the main character and when I learned that he was doing this movie I looked for more informations and discovered that it was coming from a book (funny thing: this actors plays in 3 movies that I like, and the 3 movies are inspired by a book ;D).
Anyway, I also know the other actors/actresses so I couldn't miss it! ;D

@all: I've read the 5 first books of the Sword of Truth and I so would like to read the others but I don't know where to find them...I mean, I borrowed the first ones to a friend and I don't feel like buying the others...
