I somehow dimly remember that these days someone here asked whether we could open a thread like this. I...think it was Khei, but I´m not sure. And as far as I´m aware the thread hasn´t been opened since then, so... in case it already exists and I´m double posting here, tell me and I´ll delete this one, cause then it merely escaped the clutches of the search engine. Reading right now: James A.Owen: Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica III - The Indogo King. Dragons, JRRT as one of the protagonists, tons of mythological elements and pretty pictures. And I just stumbled across this sentence: "The very nature of the Geographica and the accompanying Histories meant that discussing them or the Archipelago with anyone in the natural world was verboten."*snickers* It always cracks me up to see those ... Germanicisms . ;D

This does indeed exist like this? That's just like angst and kindergarden and all those words I never thought would be really used in English. x)

Actually I think it was Bryn who mentioned the idea of opening this sorta thread
*Points at Anime Mania* That one was my idea.
as for what I'm reading, Thanks to a great friend of mine
Oh My Goddess - First End by Yumi Tohma (The original Japanese voice actress for Urd)
All I can say is WOW.. I mean.. 10 pages in and they kill off a main character.. not just a main character but the character who's existence makes the series possible.. Just.. Wow.. I gotta keep reading just to see where it goes..

Khei: Oh, I'm afraid it was not me. It was thea's idea. she asked sinbad to open a thread like that to exchange books as she like to read books and to know references about it. after that I told her that I'm giddy for this idea 'cause I'm a book eater. but then she i think forgot about it. *shrugs, smiles* Good thread by the way. Though as in a study time, I don't have the time to read sadly Khei: Is it a visual novel or a normal book? I like Anime in visual novels form a lot

alex *Facepalms* Your right it was Thea. My bad. First End is an actual novel. There's a few nice illustrations but the book itself is a novel. It's a big departure from the Graphic Novels (Manga) It's not so happy and comedic. It has a rather serious tone to it but still a good read. I just received Volume 14 of the Manga (I have every Volume released to date thus far) I wanna finish First End before diving back into the Manga again.

just reread Graceling by Kristin Cashore. I highly recommend it. Just divulging a bit of details here but Katsa has a Grace (an extrodanary talent), her happens to be killing. She is a guard for her uncle is the Seven Kingdoms. If your a big romance, fantasy, adventure fan I highly recommend this

I am currently reading 3 books. I am reading Marley and Me. Which is a book about a very bad labrador retriever and his owners. The dog is very destructive, and likes to have adventures. They made a movie about the dog, but I personally think that the book is better.
I am also reading, horse miracles. Which is what I brought and read stories from on the bus to and from Washington. The book just shares stories about how horses have connected, saved, and helped people in the past, and present.
And I have just started reading, The sword of truth series, Wizards first rule. I am only like the 3rd page though, because I had to go to school quickly today and my locker neighbor kept distracting me.
