Khei: Hehe, nothing wrong with the dub, but i meant that usually dubs tend to change things like adding some speeches or deleting others that's why one can't fully get the whole picture of the dubbed medias clearly. at least here it's.  About MSGW, Aww, that's great. you were a fan!! Well, I don't blame you for forgetting about it, knowing that it's a 90s anime and such xD ;D I sometimes forget about it, but not totally. I'm addicated to this anime, actually. ;D You won't believe the new developments. but I won't bug you with them as I myself am still confused. xD The only thing that occupies my mind is Relena's newlook ;D May I present to you "The masked Relena" ;D " A zechs version" here is her original pic "A manga version"  and here is the version I colored for her. But yeah I know what you mean. In an effort to make the speech match the motion of the mouth they do try to reword things to convey the basic idea yet also make the mouth movements more natural looking.
Sometimes I prefer Dub. Like with AMG. (TV Series) the English Dub voice fits Keiichi perfectly IMO. Slayers on the other hand.. I could live with either voice. I do lean toward the Film and OVA English voice rather than Lisa Ortiz if only because it makes Lina sound a lil more mature. The annoyingly high pitched series voice tho still adds to the humor IMO.
On the subject of GW tho, I used to have a Duo themed wallpaper on my PC that read "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for I am the God of Death and this' MY Valley Baby!"
I still have a Keychain that reads "Shinigami Otaku for Life" XP

Well, actually she never wore a helmet. xD It was her brother Prince Milliardo peacecraft who wore it during half of the series when he was disguised under the name of Zechs Marquize one of Terize's (OZ) soldiers.  Then there was Dorothy (This pro-war girl) who wore it in the episode 48 to fight Quatre.  In Endless Waltz, neither of them wore the Helmet but Now the authors made Relena wear it (  ) after having her Brother (who was killed)'s Data in her mind. That's not a good thing, me thinks.  about the dub, Well, I have a tendency toward hearing things with their original voices. sometimes I don't like Japanese dub because they make the characters less mature indeed  on the other hand, I loved the English dub of GW more than the Japanese though lots of fans prefer the japanese. Th English dub gives more Depth to the series. I loved Duo. ;D though the 1x2 Yaoi thing disturbed me very much.  Gladly the new novel dropped this theory. I just hope it won't drop the 1XR theory as well I can't pinpoint a fav pilot. I loved them all. Everyone has a special thing. Heero's indifference is.. well... hot!! xD Duo's humor is pricelss. Quatre's kindness. Trowa's rationality and Wufi's ever fury ;D Love them all. Lucky you. I just have GW Blind Target manga and some other fan stuff in my special folder. and my PC is stuffed with them, too. ;D Thanks, honey  Well, I used the makeup tools in our Mystical software to color it. xD not getting-or at least reaching-the exact colors of Relena's hair (her hair color is VERY tricky) and costume scared the hell out of me xD  |

Oh wow! One can do this with the mystical software?  Lol! I should definitely spend more time exploring it then! ;D Didn't use it anymore ever since I made the touch of destiny pic. *goes off to search for the tool* Ah! Awwww, there it is! How cool!!! Thank you a thousand times for the tip, honey. Maybe it can help me add some decent colouring to my scraps!!! Owww, but still I'm amazed! Must've taken you hours to get that colouring done! |

I'm on a kick again.. XP Recently bought "The Secret World of Arriety". I love Studio Ghibli films so it was a must have.  Now I'm not the type that usually gets emotional over a movie.. even Anime but damn.. This one actually had me crying a bit at the end. It's not a sad movie really.. more bittersweet than anything. My only complaint is the need on Disney's part to change the character names to more English sounding names.. That's really unnecessary.. If you haven't already seen it, even if you're not big on anime, you should really see it. |

Since Anime has come up in other threads, I recently have been watching Ranma1/2 againfor the first time in years. (we're talking like before DVDs even existed here)
I'd forgotten how much fun the series is. A must watch if you enjoy comedy and don't mind some innocent nudity.
