Anything by Alanis Morissette I love. When I watched Prince of Persia the other day I heard this song play throught the credits. I think its very beautiful.

I don´t really listen to a lot of French music *scratches head* Nothing at all against the language or country or culture or whatever, but me liketh English more. Yeah, same here. There's one exception though: I just love the soundtrack of Notre Dame de Paris which is a musical. Has some awesome songs in it. Aww, nice. Old but nevertheless simply good.

@kriss: Well I don't really like her voice, first....and then There is a sentence that I can't stand: "Cn'est pas votre argent qui fera mon bonheur/ This is not your money that will be my happiness" How can she sing that, when she's actually EARNING money with that song... But Apart from that I love french songs a swell! ;D @doubar: Aww, yeah Notre Dame de Paris is awesome! Do you know that there are english version of those songs? but I don't like them... @sinbad: Nice song.

@doubar: Unfortunately not...But I love musicals so I have it on DVD, like Romeo and Juliet, and I've seen "The Sun King" (the story of Louis XIV, King of France) and "Cleopatra" in live.

@kal: I, too, have the DVD. *high fives* ;D Weird me likes Gringoire (Bruno Pelletier) best. Next come Quasimodo (Garou) and Frollo (Daniel Lavoie). And of my fav songs are Florence (awww, I just love this tune), Belle (yeah, very creative I know ... and some parts of the lyrics are just... Men! ) and a song pretty much at the end.. L'Aattaque de Notre Dame 't was I think. The song itself's not really nice in the common sense of word, but I just love it how three parties sing their their own song each and somehow all three of them fit together. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mPFOvHa0E4 (Florence) www.youtube.com/watch?v=mH--RU1QjB0 (Belle) www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRVeyvg2808 (pretty much at the end)) Haha, one of my best friends would be totally proud of me now, because she's a total fan of the musical and of Garou, too. xD xD xD Aw, and you saw "Cleopaotra" and "The sun king" live? That's cool. I've been to "Starlight Express" and "Cats" till now.

Aww, nice. Old but nevertheless simply good. I have to admit I do get trashy before Christmas. Not much at all for the Christmas songs we have over here, but I do have a thing for those old American classics.

@sinbad: Yeah, I don't like them old German songs all too much as well. They're simply too grave (does the word fit here? >_> ) and... dunno, they don't fit my Christmas mood too much. But I like them American songs, too, and the more recent stuff of course.

I personally like.. well a whole array of music.. from American Alternative to Punk to Rock to Soundtracks. I have a soft spot for Techno and lots of Japanese stuff and even O-Zone (Who I have NO clue what country they're from)
As for Christmas songs.. they're okay but my GOD I get tried of hearing them. 30 days straoght of listening to them gets really old really fast..
I absolutely HATE this gawd awful Christmas song that the Beetles sung.. It grates on my nerves every time I hear it.
This one is my favorite Christmas song.. "Blues Traveler - It's Christmas"
