The walk through the forest

[Kriss]

The archer had heard this compliment many times before. Kriss and her bow was like the oneness.
"Thanks. Sometime I feel like I would born with the bow in my hand." she said and smiled at the woman.
"No, we have no choice. We made that mess and we will tidy it up." she added and kicked one of the body to shove it closer to the next one.

[Kahlan]

While Kahlan was helping Kriss to hide all the bodies, she thought about the fight. Maybe she was good to hunt animals, and her father teached her everything to defend herself, but she never killed a man before. But today, the fear and the anger made her do things she would never think she could do.
She drove her thoughts from her mind while she put the last branche on the corpses.
"Are you sure that nobody is going to find them, here?" She asked Kriss, a little worried.

When they were hiding the bodies, Kriss thought about Aniel and Caipra. For sure they had already started to worry about her. Kahlan's question brought her back from her minds.
"No, It's getting dark, nobody will come to the forest now." she tried to calm down her companion. "We will back here to burn the bodies later" she declared.
"Now, we better get go to the tavern. Shall we?" the archer added and pointed at the path.

[Kahlan]

Kahlan nodded with a sign of her head and looked at the path that Kriss pointed at. The hesitation came back for a few second, but she took a deep breath and watched Kriss
"Alright, let's go." she said with a smile.

[Kriss]

Kriss smiled back at the girl. Full of the apprehensions she went along the path. The both of women spend their way to the tavern in the silence.
