Two more questions. 1) Does Bryn understand Dermott like Maeve did (as a human talking voice), can she have conversations with him ? And does she know he is in fact human ? That's an interesting question. And one I cannot answer for certain. There are scenes that imply she can "talk" to him to some extent. But whether it works the same way as how Maeve connected to him, I wouldn't know. We never hear Dermott speak to Bryn, or Bryn speak to Dermott for that matter. Personally I always had the impression that the bird was more like sharing images and feelings with the brunette rather than really mind-talking with her. I am rather sure though she does not he's human. Ever since Maeve left Dermott had not been a major issue anymore so the whole Rumina-cursed-Dermott-thing didn't get addressed anymore. But there's no hint whatsoever that implies Bryn knowing about it. No, we don't have such a thread yet. So if you want to create one: do go ahead. ;D Mala: LOL, I didn't notice you had replied as well. But nice to see we share the same POV on this. ;D

Doubar : LOLLL No I wasn't talking about Firouz and Rongar, hahaha. I was talking about Firouz and Bryn. Because Firouz doesn't like when Sinbad kisses her, and after when Doubar pats her shoulder as a comforting gesture, so did Rongar with Firouz (my thoughts being : why would he need to be comforted by Rongar ?) Maybe it's just a random male gesture, but I found it to be weird that Firouz almost looks the most shocked about B/S kissing. So I wondered if B/F could have been implied somewhere. *I see romance everywhere*

@fire: Ooooh, I see. Well, my tired mind was wondering already. ;D But on Firouz and Bryn: Actually I had never realized that Rongar was patting Firouz' shoulder there and even when re-watching I have the impression that he was rather dragging him along (first when they lave Sinbad and then when the walk away, too, because Firouz had just turned around to stare again). So it never really crossed my mind that Firouz might feel bad because of how Sinbad treated Bryn, but more because he was flabbergasted by the captain's actions in general (btw.: True that though. He looks most shocked indeed whereas Doubar's gaze is the darkest one though it lasts ever so shortly). Anyhow, with Firouz stroking Bryn's hair during "The Return of the Ronin", holding her hand while she's connecting to the gryphon for the first time and the cute little shot in "The Guardian" where Bryn with the baby stands right next to Firouz and they both look up as Dermott screeches I can easily understand why Firouz/Bryn is no uncommon couple in the fandom. *winks at Rongar ^^* Thanx to Velda though I personally never even thought of matching those two, but I admit that the mixture between science and magic would be quite interesting. ;D Ah, and as for any flirty scenes that might suggest anything concerning Bryn... actually after turning off the computer yesterday evening I remembered a scene that I was wondering about for a rather long time already. www.youtube.com/watch?v=toS1Ywo_xXEIt's at 5:45 As you can see Bryn announces that she's planning to go bathe and she's doing that with this challenging hue in her voice and look. And while previously I always thought that was meant to be aimed at Sinbad I now feel like she's more often - and initially - looking to her right where in fact the boys are. And what puzzles me most in that regard is the weird laugh that Doubar gives in return to that. *shifty eyes* Doesn't really have to mean anything and could just be the crew as friends joking around, but somehow I do more believe there's an innuendo there (of whatever kind that is ).

Ohhhh I definitely need to re-watch that episode... (spoiler alert). Bouhahahhaa ! *Bryn gives the baby to Sinbad* Sinbad : *WTF how do you hold that thing* Bryn : Good. You're a natural.
*Falls off her chair laughing*

I watched it three times. She's really saying this to the guys first, Sinbad after. Your POV is interesting. Mine would be, when she glances at Sinbad saying she needs privacy and by the mean look on Sinbad's face afterwards, I presume she meant to tease him, because he didn't know how to take care of the baby, and she said it meaning somehow ''don't come asking for my help'' (the innuendo being, she expects Sinbad to panick and to run to her to give her the baby back, knowing he felt uneasy and didn't know how to act with the baby). That's how I understood it because first Bryn gives the baby to Sinbad, then he slightly panicks and admits he doesn't know what to do. Then Rongar gives him this look: Then Bryn teases him about being a natural. Then after she leaves, Doubar teases Sinbad saying it's a baby, not a basket of eggs. Firouz answers ''Doubar's right, relax...'', etc. So I think it was actually part of a huge teasing about Sinbad's uneasiness with a baby.

Bouhahahhaa ! *Bryn gives the baby to Sinbad* Sinbad : *WTF how do you hold that thing* Bryn : Good. You're a natural. *Falls off her chair laughing* Aya, that's one of my favourites as well. Priceless! ;D And your POV on things is actually pretty reasonable and presumably the real meaning of the scene. It just had me wonder why she was looking at the guys when she meant to tease Sinbad, but you're right: she may well have just been sharing this moment of fun with them. Thanx for your insight on things.

If I might add, I think it's maybe because nothing scares or stops Sinbad usually, but the baby was totally awkward for him. So I think they ALL had fun at the captain's expense. And by glancing to the guys, I think she knew Firouz would know how to handle a child, Doubar used to take care of Sinbad as a baby, etc. She knew they would watch over Sinbad, hehe.

Awww, Firouz blushing upon the mental image of him and Bryn being a couple... how cute is that! ;D But honestly, what do you think Rongar? You've played Firouz for quite a while now, you think that's possible (I know you shipped them before but still asking ) or do you think he's sort of bound to Velda already? *just curious*

@fire: True that. Before we got to know about Velda I always thought that one day Firouz and Serendib would surely get together (if ever they had met again that is).

*ponders question...*
Well, Firouz is absent-minded but focused when the times call for it...a long distance relationship with Velda might not work for him since he's so absent-minded...if she's not there its like its out of sight out of mind.
Oh, he won't try to forget her, but all his inventing, experiments, and adventures with Sinbad and the crew...she'd be pushed to the far side of his thoughts.
And beyond remembering the adventure...I don't think he's given Serendib a second thought...she WAS a kid the last time he saw her.
So out of the 3, Bryn definately has the best chance...not only since she'd there, he won't be able to push her aside due to his science, they are great friends, and their discussions about magic and science could be great fun! LOL

Very interesting insight there, Rongar. That's actually the cool thing about rp-ing I guess - you really start thinking about the other characters as well. It never really occured to me before, but now that you voice it out I guess it's true that the only relationship that could work for Firouz is one he cannot be distracted from (i.e. with someone who's around most of the time). And right indeed, out of the mentioned ones Bryn would thus would be the best choice. Hihi, plus true enough: could be funny to have them discuss about magic and science. x)
