After Mala's departure, Scratch intended to search far and wide for a viable solution to capture Sinbad's soul. He had just the plan to use it to his advantage. But before entirely leaving to commence with his plot, he decided to observe what the crew was up to.
"Flames of Hell, show me the place where Sinbad would dwell!" commanded Scratch to his pool of flames, which rose up and encircled to form a portal-esqued view-screen.
"Hnh, look at all those merry sea-dogs. They think that they can prevail with the help of DimDim's floozy? She smells worse than Sinbad's impudent mother!" Scratch disgustedly spoke. Sinbad, Doubar, Firouz, Rongar, even the old wife of DimDim's: Caipra, Dermott, they were all there. Amongst them was also the familiar girl called Bryn whom he once saw back when he apprehended the Nomad crew on a spider web. The devil noted that she was in a coma, and his attention drastically focused to her.
"Poor little witch seems to be quite the has-been nowadays!" Scratch let out an ugly chuckle. "I guess her dark powers really was too much for her to muster. It's only a matter of time before the darkness will take hold of Bryn once more!"
Moments later, he observed the men leaving the room, and Bryn waking up from her slumber. Scratch continued to spy on Bryn and Caipra's conversation, hoping to hear a solution that would take down the entire Nomad crew once and for all. Just as more facts began to unravel, Scratch's viewscreen took an entirely different turn.
"Huh, what's this?" he raised a brow as the flaming portal changed, much to his chagrin. Then again, when the viewscreen changes, it might as well be the information he is searching for. The tavern's scene shifted to a desolate port nearby a village called Asher. Eyeing the new subject in the scene, Scratch witnessed a blonde haired woman who was clad a warrioress' attire. She wandered aimlessly around the docks, waiting for a ship to come by. It seemed as though no vessel would ever come to pick her up, since the Asher itself is populated by a small quota of people, and the volatile woman continued to shout out and stomp her feet on the ground.
"Boy, that maladjusted wench sure knows how to complain. I better pay her a visit to see if she's of any use. Afterall, I do love to manipulate damsels in anguish, hahahahahaha!" laughed out Scratch as he watched the woman continuing to shout out to the skies. Scratch disappeared from his lair afterward and aimed to make an appearance in the girl's life. Since the ill-tempered girl lacked a ship, it was up to Scratch to accomodate her with one, a ship to take her to a voyage that will corrupt her morals and sanity even further.
