I´m just having an eye on you guys round here. Firouz knows how it´s meant I hope. Keep it a little less provocative, kay?

Rumina: *shakes head* Where was I rude. I was just defining sassy and giving some analogies to you. I don't see why you should think that as rude. And I was just pointing out the you do bark sometimes. If I am the only one, then I should feel insulted. ;D *chuckles because he knows better than to feel insulted over something like this, so he uses humor* ;D And thank you for saying I am the only one to provoke you. Seems like you need a little challenge. ;D And I don't just do it to you. ;D *squints at Maeve's comment* And thank you for saying I am tactful. How sweet of you. *is sarcastic* ;D @sinbad: Oh, don't worry. I am not going to start a fight.

I´m just sensing uneasiness here. It´s not always worth starting a fight even if it´s meant in good humour. And not everything should be taken as a challenge. As I think Doubar pointed out yesterday already, sometimes subtlety is the better way. Things can easily be seen as a provocation. Therefore, don´t. Humour isn´t always easy to tell from seriousness, smileys or no.

Well, I suggest you tell that to Maeve.
I am not going to stop using humor. I have already tried my best to make myself clear by writing down my thought/actions. Smileys don't tell the whole story. If you cannot read my comments and understand what I mean (or if I don't use comments because it can be inferred by the contexts of the situation), I suggest you read a book more.
I can always leave if you don't like me.

It´s not about that and it´s not about humour in general. It´s just about learning how people react to different things. There are some people who are fine with daft humour and punchlines or bluntness, there are others who get annoyed with it. I´m just asking for a bit more care about that, nothing more. This is certainly not about asking anyone to leave, heck why would I? It´s just not helpful when you get insulted when I give you my viewpoint. Therefore, we should stop talking about this now I think since it´s riling people up. If you have concerns, complains, anything, I´m always there. If there are misunderstandings, just drop me a pm and I´ll deal with it

I think everyone understands when you´re using humour there because of the smileys. The thing is just that we have different ways of dealing with humour. To give you an example from real life: I tease someone for fun and we have a verbal banter. When I notice I reached that person´s limit, I stop. It´s all about knowing your limits I think.

@sinbad: *chuckles* You can't leave, because you are the admin. If you do, there will be no board. ;D
And are you talking to me, because I am not insulted. ;D
And aye, aye captain, or whoever you are. *laughs* ;D

Maybe not, but you sounded mopey a moment ago Let´s continue this in pms, okies? I´ll teach you some subtlety yet. ;D

*is taken aback* Mopey? You mean gloomy. No, I was a little insulted, but as I said, I keep my cool. It takes a lot to release my anger. You seen that, and it was not pretty. Okay, whatever you say. *is a little insulted that she thinks he does not know how to be subtle, what does she think I am, a moron?* ;D

I´d say gloomy is more when you´re being sad in a sort of dark, melancholic way *checks dictionary* Mopey is more like... sitting in the corner and pushing out your bottom lip. ;D Well, you´re a guy. They can have troubles with subtleties at times. Probably also has to do with the fact that guys are usually more straightforward than guys. I could even reason why that is so, evolutionary wise if what I once read about that is correct.

Ha, I will never do that. ;D *chuckles* ;D Well, you´re a guy. They can have troubles with subtleties at times. Really, I should be insulted. ;D *chuckles* ;D Probably also has to do with the fact that guys are usually more straightforward than guys. Ha, you made a mistake. ;D

Hey, concerning the signatures...I was wondering what to write on the Sinbad one... How about: Never doubt the captain! If you have any other ideas, feel free to share them!

Yeah, cool quote! I thought about that, too, a while ago. If I remember correctly I even posted it somewhere and Sinbad agreed. I for one think it really fits him and it is a quote from the show. ;D
