Just if you know, I usually do. So if you hear something strange, I am playing along. I am the great American (half Japanese, and proud of it) actor. *thinks, be careful Firouz, don't be too big headed*

Half Japanese, seriously? *looks at her own extremely boring pedigree*

;D That explains a lot then. ;D ---- ---- *pats the scientist's back* Of course I do respect you and your little ... thingies. Just, ah, leave some space between them and me, would you? ---- ---- Err, think I've been to slow again. My comment refers to the in-character-thing not the pedigree one.... And, okay, now I know.

Yes. I am the great grandson of samurai class. Very proud of my Japanese blood indeed.
No, Doubar you have not been too slow. I am not offended, if that is what you are thinking. Did you know that Romans carried vinegar around and mixed it with water to make a sort of sour wine. That way, we will never run out of wine.

They did? I didn´t know that. *adds it to her large collection of history buff related knowledge*

Just a question, are you (Sinbad) and history major? This will be so much fun. I am a big fan of ancient Greece, Rome, and Arabia, although I like the Romans the best. Do you know Latin?

I have my state exam for history because I am a history teacher However, my special field is more 20th century German history, other than that, a bit of this and a bit of that through antiquity and the European Middle Ages. I keep increasing my knowledge. I´ve had Latin at school for... *counts*.. 5 years. But I pretty much sucked at it ;D

So you know all about World War I and II, and that Japan sided with Germany in World War II. I understand some Americans don't like Japanese and my mother says I should be careful when criticizing the United States because of my Japanese background.
I like to also study history, typically ancient history, all kinds of wars, and political and social conflicts. I am very interested about learning about the Native Americans.

Of course I know that. And I find it a pity that some prejudices still linger. They shouldn´t. We are another generation and sometimes I as a German think that with the historical background I have and know, that I am more critical and away towards changes, because we know how things can go. I am very critical towards anything that limits basic rights for example, for whatever reason.
I guess Native Americans unfortunately is one of the fields I do not know much about. Probaly also because unfortunately history is usually country-centric, in my case Euro-centric. What I know about it is mostly from English class.

@rumi: hope you don't mind me taking the banner you made as a temporary signature. *takes on her best puppy dog eyes*

How do you do that, take someone's banner?

Err well, you could say I've stolen it, but here we go:
I used right button click on the banner Rumina has posted and saved it on my PC. Then I changed the pic's size and uploaded it on imagebanana (yeah, am still using it x). Then just like Sinbad already explained: profile -> signature There I put the URL and finished it is. ;D

Ha, you, a thief. That would be a picture. Doubar would be a very clumbsy thief. ;D I am a fan of Autolycus, the king of thieves in Hercules and Xena (played by Bruce Campbell). Ah, he was a character. But I am sure Rumina won't mind. After all, that is why I think she made them.

Hehe, yeah, Doubar would be far away from being a good thieve. *chuckles* And, aye, hope that too. *feels a shiver running down her spine as she imagines Rumina casting a spell on her for stealing that banner* ...
