He can be just a guest from tavern or something that way. I agree with Doubar, another character from Bryn's past, sounds odd Sorry...

And I'm really disappointed with that, Doubar and Bryn won't be together in our story I liked this idea.

but having a random man for Bryn is odder. i mean he has to have a role a good storyline not just garbing him from his shoulder to love Bryn or making him up completely for her. he has to have a role in the whole story.

Hum, this case the being one of Rumina's followers would be best I think. Because having that version Mody suggested - with the man who searched the world for her - is odd. We already have Sarah searching for Bryn (even though for different reasons) so the version of her past lover showing up in a Basra after having searched for her is too redundant and even noncredible in a way. Sorry.

that was just an example he may can be just a one seeks revenge from rumina so he volunteer for that or may be he was taken a slave by turok when he was a child and he raised him up to be a guard for the girls because he was a well muscled man. then the romantic thing appeared.

On the other thing I agree though: they could meet, become friends and then a relationship would grow from that one. But this again would require a long rp time.

So we can say that the "guy" was a slave taken by turok when he was a child and he raised him up to use him for any of his needs then he decided to make him a guardian for the girls. Then he developed a crash toward Bryn although he did not like her evil ways.
And after she has gone he tried to search for her secretly but in vain. He decided to be near rumina to serve his his personal quest for finding Bryn if he had the chance to hear her name again and winning the trust of the evil sorceress rumi to wait for the better chance to have revenge. Then one day during the whole planning thing between rumi and plunkette he was near her mistress- as if he became one of her may be confident guards- He heard the name of Bryn echoed or heard about a new sorceress with the crew. Or may be he will just be surprised by seeing her with the crew when he was ordered from rumi to spy on the crew like a double agent I mean. But he will see her and recognize her. Then you can develop how he will try to be near the crew and did not reveal himself at the same time. May be he would just pretend he was one of the crew minor mates and go to keep an eye on the brunette and at the same time pretend he serves his mistress by being a spy on the crew. By that way we can mix between the baddie side of plan and the goodie side. And at the same time we will not make it just as a love interest. I will not accept it that way. Of course the feelings will be one sided at first as the brunette will not be able to remember him. That will mix adventure with romance. my favorite type and the way I can deal with.

The volunteer, no. We already have Maeve and eventually Sarah seeking revenge on Rumina. The slave could work. However, I still think my option with him being a random person is better. And come on, if I were there, I would stare at Maeve and Bryn and ask them if they wanted to dance. I mean, they are two damn hot chicks. It would be odd if no one noticed them. ;D

Or he could be a fan of the famous captain Sinbad. I can see him asking Sinbad, "Can I have your autograph." ;D

NO!!!!!!!!!*feels that her voice was really loud so she tries to keep it normal* no mody. i think the slave idea is good and more appropriate. i do not want the hot what.. thing. i want to mix adventure+good storyline+romance in one equation. i am not accepting this character because i want my brunette to have some romance i want it to be well-planned.

We needn't decide on this today and in the end you should come up with a version that both of you feel comfortable with. For one is it after all Mody's character so he has a say in this as well, and two: should Bryn, too, have her word here since this character shall be her boyfriend.

Well, convince me how to play him, because I really don't know how to play what you suggested. I am playing him, so I need to understand him first. I am sorry, but your explanation just does not make sense to me.

I think this is a sensitive topic and we should keep in mind what is acceptable for both sides here. Let´s not start to argue about it. This is a cross cultural thing here which can be solved otherwise but most of all with keeping clear lines.
