Happy Birthday Distant Lands (I'm a little late, sorry)
I can’t believe it’s already a year. Seems like yesterday when us fans didn’t have a place to gather and the fandom looked like dead. I didn’t even know what a rpg was when Nili asked me to join, but I’m so glad I’ve decided to subscribe.
Just like Maeve, I’ve been a silent lurker on the old fandom without never being active. So, chatting, playing, and having fun with you guys had been a wonderful way to keep alive the fairytale Ed Naha gave birth so long ago. Since our beloved captain opened the board, this place has changed so much. Everybody contributed to mould it, suggesting new sections, games, planning interesting discussions, spamming in the wrong treads, dreaming with new stories and fictions, videos, graphics, and last but not least the ff.net project. And all this in only one year. I’m so glad I’m part of Distant Lands and met you guys.

Shubho Jonmodin, Distant Lands. I honestly can say that this place really is a boredom murderer. Every one of you people here are amazing, and this is honestly the best community which is passionate about an old show that hardly anyone else cares about now  . They say that finding a good thing from an accident is a great thing, and it applies true for me, because I found this place by accident when I got my interest back in the Sinbad fandom. Even if this board went through rough tides, I honestly don't regret in joining this community. *raises a glass* Madame Nili rocks for creating this forum, and here's to everyone and everything in Distantlands |
