Rumina: What the ... The mere description of that dream is sending shivers up and down my spine. That's so scary even if it was "just" a dream. *hugs her in sympathy*

*eye twitches* That sort of stuff is the kind of thing that inspires Steven King novels.

Rumina*has chills right now too* Hey, when I brace myself to writing, I will write you some good stories. I know a lot of old, polish, scary stories. My grandfather told my all of them when I was younger. So be patient.

@doubar, Sinbad and Kriss: Yeah...It scared the wits out of me as well...I never want to experience such a vivid nightmare again!
I guess I should write to Stephen King then! ;D

I rarely have nightmares, but it´s usually not dreams involving monsters that are scary, I think. It´s more... weird, bizarre, almost subtle stuff like your dream that can be scary.

@sinbad and Maeve: Nha, my nightmares in general are quite profound. They let me live through difficult scenarios that could very well take place on day. *shrugs, is glad she never had such a creepy nightmare till now, prays she won't ever have one!*

I have had a few dreams myself....
A couple in particular that are eerie because it makes one think of prophectic dreams and some such thing...
My friends across the street had a giant trampoline. My friend's brother loved to jump off the roof and onto the trampoline for adventure, you know?
Well, the night before my brother's accident, all woke up from a black voided dream and just before I woke up all I saw was the big red cross. You know, the symbol of the hospitals or the Red Cross?
The very next day, my brother, who was on the trampoline, was thrown off by my friend's brother's roof jump and broke his arm.
We had to go to the hospital.
I've had that dream 5 times. And each and everytime I've had it the very next day something happened and we'd have to go to the hospital......

Something similar happened to me recently. In september, all my family made a trip to France (grand-parents aunts and uncles) Only the grand children stayed here in Canada. They were all gone for two weeks.
at the end of the second week, on thursday. I woke up with a weird feeling and it kept bothering me all morning. I could not explain it, but I talked about it with my friends and I kept saying: I feel something weird. Of course, I immediatly started worrying about my family.
The next day, my mother called me to tell me that, since yestturday (wich means on thursday) my grand-mother wasn't feeling verry well and that we'd need to go to the hospital when they'd come back.
She died in the plane that was bringing here back here... I couldn't help but think that I had sensed it.

awwwwwww hi guys *is glad to see that around the fire thread is working so well * @maliah : i did not watch this movie .but is there any one here watched "house in the hell " or "hell house " do not remember exactly ?this movie made me gave up watching all horror movies . about your feelings , i think that all of us has a very strong connection to all who related to us in blood . i myself went through many feelings like this and each time a bad thing happens . Rumina : do u know that when we are sleeping , our souls free and can make contact to the others, souls . may be yours connected to those souls from 1920s and may be what u saw happened really . do u know why ? cause what u saw is called "vodo " an old african dark magic which contains a deadly curse known as "blood dummy ". vodo witches can-by taking a thing related to a certain person like hair , blood ..etc - make a dummy represent this person . whatever pain or destruction happens to his/her blood dummy it is done to the real person,s body . if it is burned, the real person die . @firouze: poor you . u always seem to encounter weird incidents

alex: Oookay...well...let's just hope that whoever made that doll keeps it away from fire...I mean, who on earth would have practiced voodoo on me? And why? I think I'll stick to the fact that my nightmare was probably just a very scary one...but I think I'll work on some sort of countering protection spell nonetheless...just to be sure...

alex: Ah...I see. Sleep paralysis? Whoa, that sounds scary... *notices the quote under Bryn's signature* Edgar Allan Poe! I love that author so much! The man is a pure genius when it comes to writing horror! Good quote!
