Okay, let me see. I have many stores to tell. I will start with some stories which, well, may not seem scary, but weird. Doubar, Sinbad, you probably already know this. Here is three different short-stories. 1. I often get what I call cold fronts. These events are times when my body gets really, really cold, in which my teeth start to chatter. I cannot control it, and it usually takes an half an hour for me to warm up. One morning, I got a cold front. My mother wrapped me in the blankets and started rubbing me (a way to get me to warm up). Suddenly the music Goo Goo Dolls Iris from the City of Angels soundtrack www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpO9MSEWpxc started playing on my radio. I did not turn it on (although I could have set it to start at that time). But why did it have to start when I needed it most, and why did it play that song? After the song, I was all better. 2. I was getting ready to fall asleep. I closed my eyes. With my eyes closed, I saw a white portal similar to that in Sliders www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjB2m5IePrA&feature=related but whiter. Suddenly a giant hand appeared from the portal and was reaching for me. I got scared and opened my eyes. Nothing was there. I closed my eyes again and the exact same image appeared, as if I had never closed my eyes. I opened my eyes, and again nothing. But the image just wouldn't go away when I closed my eyes. Further, the hand got progressively closer and closer. I had to open and close my eyes six times before the image went away. But what was it? Why did it come back? Did it want to tell me something? 3. I was sleeping and I woke up in the middle of the night. I looked around and everything was white. I got scared and covered my head with the sheets. A moment later I peaked my head out of the blanket and saw that the room was still white. I covered my head then peaked out about 6 times before the room became dark again. What was the significance of this situation? Is someone trying to tell me something? Or was I abducted by aliens? Well, again these are not necessarily scary.

@stinky : the stories do not revolve around the horror type we can say about every thing exciting and supernatural and also horror what u faced seemed really weird but about that : and your luck seem to be attached to number six . all weird things vanish after the sixth time ;D ...take this as a good sign that may help u with any coming encounters ;D about the stereo song may be there is a logical explanation . but i always get afraid from those sounds that may be sent out especially at night from this machines and of course if it was not turned on in the first place i watched once a movie *forgot the name * where there were some investigators like exorcists or some thing *hate that movie "the exorcist " * in a hunted house ..after they finished their work causing the family living in this house to leave it for ever . two of them wanted to take a photo for memory when the cell phone of one of them rang ...he canceled for not to be interrupted ..but it rang again and he canceled again ...for the third time it rang but this time the man switched it off totally ...but the cell phone rang although it was off ....they felt panic and the man answered just to listen to a distant music voice from the upper floor where there is no one ...this scenes one of the most frightening scenes i have ever watched

I told you they were more strange than scary, although depends how you approach them. Strange events could be thought of as scary.
Yup, I have a sixth sense. ;D "I see dead people." ;D

@doubar: With Nicole Kidman? If so then, aye! The twist was a really good one and it kept me on my toes 'til the very end! That's one of my top horror/suspense movies! I really enjoyed it! And Nicole is just amazing!

Oh! I loved this movie! I think it was an original way to make a movie about ghosts.
I don't usually like horror movies because my nightmares are creepy enough (I sould maybe tell one of them), but I also really liked the orphanage! Have you seen it?

@maliah: Aye, I've seen that one, too! Again it had a pretty good twist and, just like The Others, you can only fully grasp the whole plot at the end of the movie! Now, that's what I call good suspense because throughout the whole film you're trying to figure out what's going on so you can really relate to the main character's fears! Pretty good movie!
You just reminded me of a freaky dream I had a couple of months ago yet still pretty vivid to me today...I'll try to post it tomorrow when I get back from school...

Here's another "other" experience I had about 10 years ago.... There was this meadow by my old house (quite similiar to the one in the pic), in fact the same haunted one I told you about, with the girls, and it was Hallooween night. My friends and I were about 13-14 years old and we were walking around going Trick-Or-Treating and we came to a rest by the creek. **It is said that water is an excellent cataylst to ghostly experiences and in this story it was very true...** We were resting and talking about nothing really important when we heard music. We didn't think much of it as there were many Halloween and Costume Parties so hearing music wasn't that big a deal. But as time went on, the music got louder and we realized that it wasn't 'modern' music so much as older music. After another few minutes, I, being the only one of my friends of Native American descent, realized that it was tribal music! I totally freaked out because we were NO WHERE near any tribal lands or homes owned by N. Americans. My friend, who was even more freaked out, pointed to the clearing and shouted, "Look!" I looked, but I saw nothing. My friend later told me, that she saw see through N. Americans in tribal get-up dancing around a ghostly white fire. I didn't want to believe her, but I HAD heard the tribal war music; I just didn't see them..... Minutes later, the music and images were gone. We went home in tears after that.

*has shivers running down her spine* God, Firouz. I DEFINITELY would not want to trade places (not that anyone ever asked me to, but still... ;P ). ´ @maliah and Maeve: Aye, I mean just the one. Have never watched the orphanage though.

Ok! My turn, though it's nothing really supernatural... This is the scariest dream I've ever had, about a couple of months ago yet still pretty vivid:
*I was not a part of it, i.e I was not taking part in the action. I was more of a witness...*
My dream takes place on some mountain's plateau, near the edge of a square-cut rocky high cliff with waves crashing down at its bottom. On the plateau, a huge family is having a party, a sort of brunch, and based on their clothing, I'd say they were from the 1920's. Everyone is there, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, grandparents, children, and they're all having the time of their lives around a huge table filled with meals. Smiles are dancing upon every faces and the notes of a fiddle are colouring the cheerful atmosphere.
Then, my dream focuses on a young man in his twenties amonsgt the family, wearing a blue English cap. He's holding a horse toy in his hand. Suddenly, the toy animates itself. Shocked, he drops it to the ground and at the same time, one of the kids playing around falls off the cliff. Curiously, no one seems to notice.
Then, same thing. The young man with the blue cap is holding a horse toy once again. It animates itself and he drops it just like before. Another person falls off the cliff.
Now, this pattern repeats itself until there's no one left on the plateau. Except for the young man. He walks to cliff's edge. He jumps.
Everything goes black inside my head.
Then, as if I was flying like a bird, I see the plateau again. And its cliff. The family is there, on the edge, displayed to form a family portrait. They're frozen. Like in a picture. Black and white.
Then I zoom in on them. They're dead. All dead. Their faces are still, traits torn in a screaming motion, contorted and distorted in pain and fear.
The last face I see is that of the young man with the blue English cap.
Suddenly, a girl is screaming with the highest pitched voice I've ever heard. I can't see who she is.
Then I wake up, screaming as well.
I wasn't able to sleep for two days. I simply couldn't. Every time I closed my eyes, I would see the young man's petrified and contortioned's face...
I had chills just writing that dream down...
