@whisper: Just one more thing though. You mentioned something about her having visions ... Now, I think Nili or someone did already mention it, but just wanted to play it safe: When Bryn starts to have visions/memories, please do not make them be too specific. Our beloved Rumina has already made up a wonderful plan to reveal the brunette's identity to the crew so her having clear visions and memories would sort of ruin that one. Still, I find the idea of her starting to remember things pretty interesting and it would be a fairly logical twist. Only thing you should keep in mind though is to not make them be too revealing.

@whisper: This was my idea and you don't have to go by it. I am interested how you portray Bryn. And yes, I made her memory slowly come back: she remembered that Dimdim was her teacher. So, having Bryn have visions would fit the story. Oh and since you mentioned about visions, this is a little dream chat I started with Scratch. distandlands.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fun&action=display&thread=216&page=1 It is 3 pages long and not finished. If you want, you can finish it. I was planning to incorporate it after the tavern chat when they all go to bed. And one more thing, I was planning to have a chat with Caipra about Bryn's powers. After all, the whole reason why they visited Caipra was because Bryn begged to meet the sorceress. (Dermott chatted about her. Bryn's cabin: distandlands.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=crew&action=display&thread=52&page=1 Read the whole chat.) Again, if Caipra reveals Bryn's identity, which she knows, then that would mess up Rumina's plans. Feel free if you want to go with this chat or not.

@whisper and cheese boy: Hum, well, including the thread into the play still depends on how it ends and whether it can really be included into the current game. So, ah, think I do remember that you and Scratch wanted to try it out, Mody, and if it was good then we wanted to include it.

Our plan was that Bryn would have a chat with Caipra where the old sorceress would tell almost everything to Bryn except that she is Rumina's sister. But after this chat, Caipra will reveal everything to Dermott! Concerning the Bryn/Doubar couple, well, Doubar already said everything, and I indeed, made 2 videos about them! PS: *hugs Doubar to thank her for the wonderful words she said about me!*

Caipra: Hm, if Caipra tells everything about Bryn's past, I see how that could be a problem with Whisper's plans for Bryn to have flashbacks. I would say, if Caipra does have a chat with Bryn, leave it as she was raised by Dimdim. Do not mention about the burning village or anything like that.

I agree with that. Revealing that now would mess up Rumi´s plans. But as I understood it the chat between Bryn and Caipra was not meant to reveal Bryn´s past anyways but is planned to be more something about powers, not roots.

Yes, the key or sole purpose with the chat is to get Bryn to learn more about controlling her powers.

could u tell me guys why i feel that the way u wrote on the RP is sorta descriptions-based ? no actions , no development in the events- not in the characters u can make them develop well - but why ? i noticed that specially on long journey home but i thought this is the way sinbad write but it turned to be all of u ? i like description as well but with more actions and about chatting with caipra it will be pleasure as soon as i can find more time longer than popping in the board from time to time

Action is planned. The slight trouble we are in right now is that part of our baddies have gone missing. We will deal with the problem in due time since I do not think that our Rumina abandon this RPG, it looks unlike her. So the crew will soon clash with the baddies, the rp-ing going on now is kind of the calm before the storm.

@whisper: Oh, I noticed Nili/Sinbad and Doubar like the to go on and on about descriptions, especially Nili. It adds a little more touch to the character, because ultimately the character observes what is going on around them and has thought of their own before they speak. It is kind of like YOU are BRYN (as like in pretend), and YOU carry out your actions/thought/emotions/observations as if YOU were BRYN. I tried to limit the descriptions when I played Bryn and Firouz. So don't fee pressured to play a particular style. We all have our own styles. Oh, and in a sense, it is similar to writing a fanfiction. Mine, www.fanfiction.net/s/4811662/1/Through_the_Trees , has much more action than Nili's Long Journey Home.

It´s seeing everything through your character´s eyes. Which also means thinking through your character´s brain. ;D But don´t believe they will always think what you want them to think or do what you intend them to do. *glares at inner Sinbad* Yeah, I know, me likes desriptions.
