As you might have seen, the fanfiction project subboard has been created. *points at* I made it accessible for members only, because I can mwahaha since we´ll be posting on ff.net we would want to have our works in progress open to the public.

I revamped the canon characters list into a list of which characters are occupied and which canons, good and bad, as well as which original characters we have.

Also, I changed the news fader.

Since the question kind of came up, information about the rating of the rpg has been added to the FAQ thread in "Rules, FAQ and other important stuff."

Please keep in mind that (even though it´s not an issue yet, plot wise) the rating of the rpg is PG 13.

And what does that mean? How do you enforce it? I am against having the board's stupid word detector being expanded. Can't you just trust us members to keep it at a not-too-mature level?

I explained what it is in the FAQ thread...

Q: What´s the rating of this board.
A: PG13. As a rule of thumb, everything the show shows, the board shows. This means an okay for kissing scenes and in-character cursing and violence if necessary. It on the other hand implies that explicite mature scenes are not allowed. When characers get intimate with each other, there should be a "fade to black" which can for example be indicated with ending a thread or starting the next post with a time jump.

... and don´t worry, it doesn´t mea that the word detector will be enhanced in any way. The rating most of all refers to mature senes as you can see.
Also, it as nothing to do with not trusting anyone on here, it´s just like you set a rating for a story, it makes sense to set a rating for an rpg board. It´s general information for all members, not just for the ones who are here already, but also for possible new members.

As for enforcing, this is where trust comes in.

This doesn´t have anything to do with the word detector. When your characters need to curse to be in character that´s fine, it´s in character. The PG13 just means "Don´t rp explicit sex scenes" that´s all.

The board can not delete contents that it thinks are inappropriate, it can just censor words and I will update the censor thing in a moment to leave in only highly insulting words (such as the N-word etc.) so that the board edits those with ** automatically.
As for watching over inappropriate content, that´s our and in particular, the staff´s task.
But I guess there won´t be trouble.

Can you post the words one cannot use? This will make it easier to type, because you do not have to wonder if the word detector will change it. Such as b*itch for pregnant dog.
