Name:
Firouz
Appearance:
Slender, short, curly haired (the perfect nerd), Firouz wears a dark greenish vest, a whitish-grey baggy shirt, and loose pants. His hair is dark brown. He carries a saber, similar to Sinbad’s.
Strength:
Firouz is not that good at fighting, but can hold up well with his sword and punches. He likes to carry exploding sticks with him, which could come in handy.
Character:
Firouz is very caring and considerate to people's feelings. He is the perfect gentleman and knows how to treat women with respect. Firouz is the Nomad’s eccentric inventor. He has often caused an explosion or something whenever his experiments went wrong. He refuses to accept magic over science and, being a very logical man, denies the existence of ghosts. Doubar often got annoyed by his elaborate explanations and his “toys,” as Doubar puts it. He got angry when Firouz’s experiment almost killed him. Sinbad had to calm down his big brother and told Firouz “just don’t sink the ship.” Maeve and Rongar gets along fairly well with Firouz.
Bio:
Firouz was one of the original people chosen to be in Sinbad’s crew. A good friend of Sinbad’s, Firouz made himself useful on the ship. He made several inventions, including the magnescope, ruby-beamer, relaxation tub, exploding sticks, and water pump. The magnescope used shaved glass to bend light, thus magnifying the objects and making navigation easier. The ruby-beamer was an attempt to make communication easier overseas but ended up destroying anything it shined on. The relaxation tub was a delight to Maeve. It allowed someone to bathe on the ship. The exploding sticks were a mixture of chemicals that, when coming in contact with fire, caused a violent reaction and exploded. Each stick had a string which would be lit and the fire would gradually make its way to the stick. Finally, the water pump helped pump water that got into the Nomad back into the sea. In one of their several adventures, Firouz makes a wind-mill that helps defeat one of their enemies, who had the power to change into an invisible wind-like force that made him virtually unstoppable. Thus, Firouz became a valuable member of the crew.
After Maeve disappeared, Firouz befriended Bryn, treating her with just as much respect as he would to Maeve.
