This is everything I could come up with for now. If you feel something needs to be added to this FAQ, you can post your questions in this thread. 
Q: I´m total newbie to all this. How does this work?
A: See it as a sort of story telling, just you don´t write the whole story, only a part of it. You´re inside the story and part of the story with your character. It can be kind of unpredictable because you can not fortell how other characters will react to your character(s), but that´s part of the fun.
Q: What is the plot of the game?
A: This board is brand new and for now it´s getting started and first members are being recruited. Before a proper plot is being drafted, we will first of all get started.
Q: What do I need to do to register?
A: On the main page there is a link to register. Click there, and follow the instructions.
Q: Where do I modify my profile?
A: Once you have registered, you will see a menu bar on the top of the screen. Click on Profile, then click Modify Profile, and change what you like.
Q: How do I choose and set my avatar/userpic?
A: Before you go to modify your profile, upload your chosen userpic to an image site such as www.photobucket.com. Be aware: Proboards doesn't accept images hosted on Imageshack. Copy the image link they provide you with, and put this link into the space for it when you modify your profile. Maximum size for userpics is 100 X 100 pixels, but you can make it smaller, depending on the avatar height and width you enter in your profile. What userpic you use is up to you, but we do ask that no nudity be used.
Q: How can I put up a signature?
A: Upload the signature to an image site such as www.photobucket.com, and copy and paste the codes that have the image tags around them into your signature area on your profile. Be aware that Proboards doesn't accept images hosted in Imageshack for some reason. (Please keep in mind that the maximum size allowed for signatures is 375 X 150 pixels.) This cuts down on load time for those with slower Net connections.
Q: How do I make a clickable link in HTML?

Q: What is private messaging (PM)? How do I private message someone?
A: A private message is similar to sending an on-site email. To private message a player, click on their character name, then click Send Personal Message.
Q: How many characters can I play?
A: No more than 2. This may be changed in the future. Also, for starters, it would be good to stick to one or two characters and get them started. Also, please interact with other players. It wouldn´t make much sense for an rpg to start say small crew of three characters and play with yourself the whole time.
Q: Do I have to create separate accounts for different characters?
A: Yes.
Q: Do you accept original characters?
A: Yes. There are a few things you should keep in mind though. For now, since this game is starting from scratch, you should definitely start off by playing a canon character. Also, keep in mind that if you register an original character that he or she should fit into the AoS fandom, therefore: no crossovers or Mary Sues please.
Q: What´s the rating of this board.
A: PG13. As a rule of thumb, everything the show shows, the board shows. This means an okay for kissing scenes and in-character cursing and violence if necessary. It on the other hand implies that explicite mature scenes are not allowed. When characers get intimate with each other, there should be a "fade to black" which can for example be indicated with ending a thread or starting the next post with a time jump.
