Bryn is good with her sword and her kicks. She also has magical abilities, but cannot control them.
Character:
Bryn is very caring and considerate to people's feelings. She has taken place of Maeve in the crew ever since Maeve was washed overboard. She grew to be very good friends with Sinbad and the rest of the crew and even develops a little crush on Sinbad. But she knows Sinbad loves Maeve and respects Sinbad's decision. She is also curious of Maeve, because she never met her. She finds it interesting to get to know Maeve and hopes to one day meet the sorceress and become friends. Bryn takes care of Maeve's hawk, Dermott, while Maeve is gone.
Bio:
Bryn was the daughter of Turok and sister of Rumina. Therefore, she was born evil just like her family. At a very young age, she and Rumina went to Maeve's village to round up some slaves and destroyed the remainder of the village. While Bryn was rounding up slaves, Rumina encountered Maeve and Dermott on the other side of the village. Maeve aggravated Rumina so Rumina decided, instead of killing Maeve, to turn Dermott, Maeve's brother, into a hawk. Thus, Maeve had to suffer with the fact that her brother was turned into a hawk, and it was all her fault. Rumina set the village a blaze.
One of the villagers fatally wounded Bryn. Master Dimdim, seeing Bryn as an potential aid, snatched Bryn just before she died and healed her. He kept Bryn under his care and treated Byrn as his own daughter. He put the rainbow bracelet on Bryn. Bryn, having no memory of her past, grew up learning the white arts and the goodness in people. One day, Maeve came to Dimdim asking for help. Dimdim took Maeve in. Dimdim kept Bryn away from Maeve, fearing Maeve may harm her. However, one night Bryn overheard Maeve speak that she wanted to kill Rumina. The name sounded familiar, and Bryn realized that Rumina was her sister, but she remembered nothing else. Scared that Maeve could harm her, too, Bryn ran away. Dimdim was very sad about Bryn's departure but never mentioned it to Maeve.
Bryn made herself at home in a village. Since her magic was still not very good, she practiced fighting skills with a sword. She printed her name on her sword. However, one of the villagers noticed her and started an ambush against her. She held off the attackers for some time, but there was too many of them, and they started to close in on her. She ran away from the village, with the attackers behind her. It was raining and she slipped over the edge of a cliff, hit her head, and fell into the water unconscious. Since there was nothing they could do in the storm, the attackers left. Bryn's body floated away in the water.
When Bryn woke up, she was on a mysterious island. She did not remember anything but found "Bryn" written on her sword and remembered that to be her name. Bryn made a living on the island until the natives took her as a sacrifice to a monster. She escaped and met Sinbad, who washed up on the shore. Sinbad saved Bryn from the natives and the monster and took Bryn into his crew. They shared adventures together and became good friends.
