Okay, seeing that we all come from different countries, I thought it would be interesting to talk about the differences we can find between the English version of the show and the others! What about starting with the titles of the episodes? for exemple the episode "Double trouble"...Well in french, the tilte is "The obelisk"! the episode "The sacrifice", it's "The monster's anger" Completely different!  |

I don't remeber polish version but recently I found old TV magazine(I kept it becouse there were some Sinbad pics ;D ) with summary of "The Ties That Bind" The episode "The Ties That Bind" in polish " The coast of Northmen" |

I like this tread ;D ;D unfortunately my VCR broke not long ago, so I can't check the titles, but so far I remember: "the beast within" >> "the beautiful witch" "Still Life" >> "Stoneheart (or it's better to say "heart of stone"  )? The return of Sinbad, The vengeance of Rumina, The Sacrifice and Hell House stayed unchanged  Ah, one more thing, in the Italian version, the names of the characters have a french pronunciation, with an accent stressed on the last syllable. |

I´ve always thought that the German titles are mostly either very plain or they give away too much. The only one I really like better are 1,2 and the German title translation of Hell House.

oh my god so many differences  ! I love that thread! ;D it's funny to see that in the German version, they often use the name of the main character (Gaia, Medusa, Mutaro, Kundalini...) and the Empress! In english it's just "the Empress"... but we have "the eternal" or "the banned" empress! ;D |

Unfortunately no, Sinbad wasn't very popular in italy. There were no fandom nor sites or just infos  . The only way would be to borrow a VCR and check again the titles ..... I'll make the post anyway, and complete it as soon as I'll find the others |
