*pats Sinbad´s head* If so, then just because he had to and because bad bad people took away his house and belongings and stuff. Am I right? *keeps patting* No. Read the Arabian Nights. And Sirius is the “brightest” star in the night sky. But yes, it is in the constellation the “big dog.”

I haven´t read Arabian Nights yet, my knowledge about "Sinbad" as a figure is based on two things: the show and the animated movie. He was a thief in the latter. Heh, yeah, and I read somewhere that in the same constellation there is a star called "Bellatrix" which makes it even funnier. ;D

Did you know Canis Major, the big dog, is chasing a rabbit?

*is proud about her (his ) astronomy knowledge* Anyway, if I am correct, Sinbad was much like a thief as Aladdin was. "Like the 1001 Nights' the Sinbad story-cycle has a frame story, which goes as follows: in the days of Haroun al-Rashid, Caliph of Baghdad, a poor porter (one who carries goods for others in the market and throughout the city) pauses to rest on a bench outside the gate of a rich merchant's house, where he complains to Allah about the injustice of a world which allows the rich to live in ease while he must toil and yet remain poor. The owner of the house hears, and sends for the porter, and it is found they are both named Sinbad. The rich Sinbad tells the poor Sinbad that he became wealthy, "by Fortune and Fate", in the course of seven wondrous voyages, which he then proceeds to relate." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinbad_the_Sailor

@dermott: I agree with all the canon couples you mentioned. And Sinbad and Talya for sure had a thing going on some time in the past. After all her remarks weren't very subtle... @sinbad: Yeah, well. I wouldn't be one for the planning as well, but seems the lady over here *points at Bryn* has already settled for something. Anyways. It's her plan right now but you are right: things are delevoping and maybe they do different from what she/we have in mind right now. But it's a good thing to think about the canon couples as we might have to specify that in the background of some characters (e.g. yours and Talya's )

I like this thread! good Idea! And I like all the pairing you mentionned! except the Rumi/Dermott pairing I don't really like this pairing but this is my opinion...
What about Rongar? Do you think he could be with someone?

Rongar? Hm, maybe Viola? She didn't really appear till now but she sounds like a strong and fairly interesting character. Anyways. Just like Sinbad said: Most likely it's nonsense anyway to think about couples now - at least when it comes to those that might form one day. The play will take a lot of time and things can change in the meantime. So: better think about those that already have been mentioned in the show and which require some attention biography-wise.
