((GLOMPS ALL)) Love you all too!
And yea, the interviews said Dermott was younger, but never mention how much younger he was, I believe.
In my fics, Dermott's older, by about 7 years. But in many others, he's the younger by the same number of years. So Maeve was portrayed as a sister/mother figured as in those same stories Maeve and Dermott's mother was dead.
In others, they are twins and Maeve is minutes older than Dermott. I really don't think it matters so don't you worry none about it Kriss! I can't wait for the chapter to come out!

Aye! Like Dita's fic. and I liked her way in drawing this responsibility. her version gave Maeve more depth in her personality, when we know that this little girl has to be a mother and an elder sister to her own little baby brother at this very young age. yeah,I think i read two or more fiction with the same version. *agrees* that's one of the show's good points. giving hints and leaving the full truth to imagination. so feel free, krissy and me too can't wait for your upcoming chapter!

@sarah: No, it was a little talk about Maeve, Bryn and Serendib types of Magic and Dermot's age in kriss's story. Nothing totally out of the topic

Every time I watch this episode, it always cracks me up that the ep starts off with Doubar and Maeve singing the Skye Boat Song. xD I have no real idea what the time period of the series is supposed to be (I suppose it is mentioned around the board somewhere, but I haven't noticed it yet. xP lol), but I am *quite* sure that it is long before Bonnie Prince Charlie and before that song was ever written. ;D Amazing how they know a song that won't be written for at *least* a couple hundred years I suppose it was chosen because it talked about sailors. xD

True, but its a nice song in any case. And the show is supposed to be set in 5th century baghdad.

Aye, it is a lovely song. One of my favorites to play on my harp! ;D And I enjoyed the rendition on the show. It just always strikes me as funny, in an ironic sort of way, at just how historically inaccurate television shows can be. xD And yeah, 5th century Baghdad would be *long* before the song was written, which was probably in the 1870s. xD

Lol! Well, the show is historical nonsense anyway - in many aspects. xD But still we love it ... and the song. Uh, and you know how to play the harp, Bran? That's amazing.
