Meanwhile...
So today (Sept 26th) was "Outbreak Day" as in it's the day the Cordyceps outbreak hit critical mass in The Last of Us and to celebrate Naughty Dog released this vid of a gag take they did for fun on the Mocap stage while filming for the ending to the game.
I cannot stop laughing at this.. It's hilarious how Troy (Joel) just ran with the joke.

@ash: Good grace, how do they all manage to keep a straight face through this? I would have cracked up the first instance the singing began. But maybe that's one of the reasons why I'd totally suck as an actress, lol. xD xD
And since we're posting YT vids about our obsessions.... cannot help but share this one: Not only am I totally obsessed with the show and those two in particular, but also do I just adore the editing. Seriously, the stuff some can do with SV (which I assume is what's been used)... it never ceases to blow my mind.  |

Awww, Ninth/Rose is a good pairing! I am partial to Tenth/Donna Friendship and her end was so sad! Still, I snigger everytime I think that Rose now has a Doctor... and it's the Doctor/Donna hybrid  The nice thing about Rose's romance was that she loved the Man, (because to us mere mortals the Doctor really is part man, part god). Very good vid TK! |

Good to know you liked it. ^^ And right?! Those two are just awesome.  Ten and Rose were cute, too, in their own right, but Nine/Rose... can't help but love them. Oh, but Tenth/Donna Friendship, aye that's fabulous, too. Actually, I really love Donna as a companion. She's great. I guess Martha would have been enjoyable, too, but her constant being after the Doctor and being jealous of Rose kinda annoyed me (though, in a way, she's just a poor lass, having a crush on someone who so is not interested in her, not in that way anyway). >.> Aye, that it was.  But believe me, you're not the only one to snicker upon the thought of Rose not just having a Doctor, but actually having a Doctor/Donna hybrid. Haha, for her sake, I hope Donna's side isn't really dominant. xD On another note though, I went all 'aww' when I saw the hybrid wore a jumper very similar to Nine's. Made Tenth's statement that the Metacrisis was actually a lot like him when he and Rose first met be so much more consistent (not to mention that it served my Nine/Rose shipper-heart xP ). Well that, and that he actually loved her back. I think what I adore so much about them is how they just love being together, and how he really needs her - especially in his 9th incarnation. There's so much hurt and darkness beneath the surface, and so much loneliness. And she just manages to make him feel less alone, less guilty. Or at least that's how I always saw and still see it. And once you get over the slightly disturbing thought of a 900+ yr old alien being in love with a 20 yr old girl, you actually appreciate how that superior being against all odds falls for this oh so human woman. ;D And if I have just rambled too much, I do apologize. But I don't often get the chance to fangirl about the show, seeing I live in one of those countries where hardly anybody even knows it exists at all. |

Ah but Martha loved the god, and that by definition means a distant, unrequited love at best. Rant away my dear, love talking Dr Who (though to be honest, I skipped most of Martha :S
In the name of funny vids, here's one that's super funny! Catherine Tate doing her Lauren Cooper character (an obnoxious teenager with the catchphrase: am I bovvered?) for comic relief and David Tennant as her new English teacher. So funny!

Good grace, MJ, this is hilarious. ;D I love it. ;D The moment she asks whether he's the Doctor and he just looks at her puzzled, and says "Doctor Who?" ... And of course he's got his sonic in his pocket. xD Awesome, truly awesome that is. Thanx a whole lot for sharing! Oh, now that's an interesting view on things. Must admit the idea never crossed my mind. I rather felt that she was more into the pretty boy that he was in this incarnation, but you could just as well be right in saying that she loved/had a crush on (dunno really whether it was love in the first place, since she barely knew but already was after him) the superior being while Rose in contrast to that loved the man/person that the Doctor is. Ah, you just make me a happy little fan. ;D No problem that you did. You didn't miss out on much, really. Did you watch the Weeping Angels ep though? That one was really good imo! |

OK, so for some reason I am in a bit of a Sci-Fi mood today (tomorrow! Tomorrow! #savetheday!) And though I had a million other things to do I couldn't get my beloved shows out of my head.
I have watched Farscape's princess trilogy (and the "out of their minds" episodes where they all body-switch and prove the following; Farscape: different from the waist down), I can recite Susan Ivanova's 'Death incarnate' speech (Babylon 5, maaaaaan, that show did dramatic speeches well!) and have been trawling youtube for any little bit of Doctor Who I could find (assisted by TK. Thanks for your invaluable suggestions dear). So this videa totally tops my list today, it's the song "Starships" by Nicki Minaj, celebrating lots of starships and their crews! And yes, with most cips I can tell which show/movie they're from ;D Come celebrate nerdyness with me!
The only quibble I have is that I would've liked to have seen some Babylon 5 space-battles in there. Just sayin'.
Most beautiful CGI-theme still goes to Star Trek: Voyager for me, even if you don't like the series at all, you've got to admit, that's some beautiful music and stunningly beautifull CGI right there. Most beloved ship goes to Farscape's Moya though, because she's alive and very caring and maternal and had to go through some very hard times. Sorry, will stop geeking out now. My love for great Sci-Fi is just overflowing a little right now ;D

One of my favourite youtube videos. I quite like the lost world and Malone belonged to my favourite characters and it was shame that he was missing in the most episodes of the last season. This just turned me into a crying mess (you might wish to have tissues at hand, as well).
