Awww, it's awesome, Kal. Wow, I guess I'd cry for days if I were them. I mean, when something this fabulous ends that has been part of your life for such a long time. On the other hand, maybe they're even looking forward to doing something new. But no matter what, that's really a cute vid, and a very nice thanx to them!

Yes, that is such a sad ending to the group. It's a very cute vid too; that I totally agree with. It must be hard to leave; they've invested so much of themselves in it and now it's over. But, even if they are eager for the new characters to come, they'll forever be known as Harry, Hermione, Ron, ect... When one plays a role over such a long period of time, impacting so many people world wide, it'll be hard to loose their 'lables/characters' names. They might be joining the ranks of Star Wars, Star Trek, and perhaps M*A*S*H; simply because SO MANY know them as these characters. Not that it's a bad thing; but they will also be judged, I think as they have portrayed the HP characters for so long...that playing 'outsid- the-HP-box', might be difficult. And yes, Daniel played his stagerole well; its not often mentioned though; and is eclipsed by his role as Harry Potter ************************* Completely unrelated, well not really, but has anyone seen the article about Daniel being an alcoholic? Did I miss something? I saw it on the news one morning, but I didn't have time ti sit and watch it.

@firouz: Funny enough, me and my boyfriend, we were thinking about exactly the same thing lately. If someone plays a certain role for this long - and if that is their first bigger part in a film as well - it might be hard for them to move on. However, personally I'd think that Daniel will have most troubles with this, and that Emma will have the least. Asides from the later movies Rupert and Emma had never been much in the focus - it's always been Daniel who was the centre of the films (naturally), so I guess he'll have the most troubles leaving Harry Potter behind. But that's just my personal thinking. As for the article: whut? O.O No, I totally didn't hear of that one. But would be a real tragedy if it were true. I mean, he'd not be the first one but really, I for his sake I hope it's just a rumour that's got no foundation.

************************* Completely unrelated, well not really, but has anyone seen the article about Daniel being an alcoholic? Did I miss something? I saw it on the news one morning, but I didn't have time ti sit and watch it. I read an interview with him and Daniel admited it himslef. He said that he is not ashame about this and that he already started a therapy. It was some kind of his "youthful rebellion" against the whole world, as he said.

I've seen this article. It it said that few years ago Daniel Radcliffe had some problems with alcohool, indeed (mostly Whisky, apparently) but it's far behind him now. It was not like a drug, it's just that he was drinking a lot (like tons of teenagers), and then he stopped. Nothing to be really worried about. Journalist are just looking for something to say in their paper... Now concerning the future of the actors, I can only agree with you there. And I've seen an interview of Emma Watson where she says that she can't decide between being sad and happy. Harry Potter have been part of their lives (more than we could imagine) and it's not that easy to turn the page. She also said that she won't take it bad if everyone always sees her as Hermione, because she's proud of what she did those past 10 years. Concerning Daniel Radcliffe, he already prooved that he was capable of playing someone else than a sorcerer.

Aw, that's good then that the whole thing's nothing serious. Would have been a real shame if it were as the article indicated. And, Kal, I think I saw the same interview of Emma. And as for what she said, that she doesn't mind being Hermione to so many: she well has good reason to be proud of those ten years! She, as well as the others, did great there and I imagine that time to have been amazing. However, I guess as she's growing up, there'll be the day when she wants to get past the child and teen Hermione, and be just Emma Watson. But personally I think that she's got great chances to get to that point. And Daniel: oh, of course. He's capable of way more than just playing the sorcerer.
