Bryn was not surprised. She had half-expected him to say that. She took a deep breath. "Why do you say that? What other things made her mad with Rumina?"

The first mate weighed his head slightly in response. "Actually I don't really know. But she's already been after Rumina way before Sinbad and I met the witch for the first time", he answered calmly. Leaning back a little on his stool then he added: "She never told us the reason why, though."

"Hmmm," she thought. Just like Dermott, Maeve seemed to also refuse to talk about certain things. But what caught her eye was the fact that "she's already been after Rumina way before Sinbad and I met the witch." Could this be related to why Maeve traveled all the way from Ireland to be taught by Master Dim Dim? Was she chasing Rumina ever since? But why? But she shugged it off. After all, Doubar could not tell her anything he did not know. Instead she asked, "Do you think we should join the captain on deck? Surely we will be porting soon."

At her words Doubar felt a broad smile spread on his lips. "Sure", he nodded at the sorceress, "And we do not want to let land wait, now do we?"

Bryn smiled and nodded. She did not want to miss entering port. And she figured if Sinbad needed any help, they should be ready to provide any assistance; not that he could not dock on his own, but she thought, as the crew, they should help their captain. She slowly got up from her chair and opened the door which led to the deck. But instead of walking through the doorway, she held the door open for Doubar and signaled to him with a cock of her head to "come on, lets go."

Doubar saw the brunette raise from her chair and followed her way with his gaze. The young one moved for the door but much to his surprise didn't pass it but held it open for him instead, making sure that the first mate would follow her. "I'm coming", he called her with a light voice while gathering his flask and moving to leave the galley as well. Strolling off to where the sorceress stood, he once again started to hum that song that he had already been whistling before he had his breakfast.
"It's a beautiful day my dear...", he stated when finally reaching Bryn. For a moment he simply smiled at the young one before moving to reach behind her and taking the door from her grasp. "... but no reason to forget about my manners", he added smiling broadly, "This is my part I guess." With a grin lying on his face then he slightly nodded towards the outside, indicating with this that he would wait for her to leave the galley first.

She smiled at him and nodded. Always the gentleman. Then she turned and headed out of the galley.
