1.
Be respectful.
This also implies no using verbal attacks against members openly on the board. If you have an issue with someone, adress the person in a pm or contact the admin or mods for help.
2.
Try to use good spelling and grammar. I am no native speaker myself and none of us should be too picky on random typos, but just see rp-ing as a sort of story telling. Bad grammar and spelling make it a poor read.
3.
When there is already a thread going on with two or more people involved, it´s always best to ask the players involved if it is okay to have your character join.
4.
Please, only describe what your own character says and does, do not take this away from other players. In other words: don´t god mode as in move / hit / kill another character without permission. (Example: Bad --> “A hit B” / Good --> “A raised his hand, ready to hit B” (this way, B has a choice)
5.
There is no fledged out plot yet, since this board is brand new. Still, try to stick to some sort of timeline and logic. Say, usual stuff like: your character, unless by magic, can not be at place A and B at the same time.
6.
Before you start a plotline that will affect the whole board, please run it by the admin before posting.
7.
If you start a new thread, you give a timeline, as in just putting the notation: "Happens after: {insert name of thread here}." This applies to connected threads.
8.
The game is not in real time. Do not treat it like it is. If you need to leave, a thread does not end because of that. Posting can and will occur over multiple days. Patience is a virtue. :-)
9.
The off topic area is to be seen as strictly out of character. Please do not blurr the in character / out of character - line!
It is essential to keep it that way from now on. We are our characters in the rp itself, for the OT please no in-role behaviour to keep confusions and possible fights out of the forum. It only leads to confusion and irritation.
10.
If you have any doubts or questions, ask.
This also goes for communication between board members: there can be misunderstandings whereever people communicate. Often, things that are perceived as harsh were not intended as such. Therefore, before you start a fight based on misunderstandings, adress the person in question and ask for clarification. Best in a pm.
