Agreed. I'll question the players involved with my backround before posting anything related to Dermott's intro

Amazing, Zen's facial traits are perfectly captured here. You are very talented, and good at shading with the pencil tecnique. Hope to see more drawings from you. Ah, and by the way, don't worry about his eye, perhaps he got hurt during one of those fights in second season ;D ;D

Does we have to open a new tread for each character intro, or we have to post them in your "Sinbad" one?

Wow!!! Che belli *_* My preference goes to the third one. I like its bright colors, the vivid blue sky, the emerald sea, the landscape. The whole thing reminds me of the atmosphere of the first season. But I like the second one too. There were also episodes with a misty weather, even if just a few. Anyway, choose the one you like the most. I just want to agree to what Doubar pointed out above. Sinbad should be in the picture too. ;D ;D You are so lucky for having visited Cape Town. Nice idea to use your own photos EDIT Scusa mi sono dimenticata di scriverlo ieri . Guarisci presto, spero che la febbre sia passata

@doubar Yes, I though of the old Sinbad movies too. I always tell to myself "Watch those ones!!!" But I still have to search for them. I remember vaguely something from my childood. By any chance, there was a red-haired heroine if I'm not wrong? @sinbad I prefer Maeve's celtic outfit too. Luckily they decided to change the pendant at least ;D ;D I'd like to see your doodle . Why don't you post it there?

I though it could be nice to have a tread dedicated to AoS graphics and drawings avaliable on the net. I'll start with this picture painted by fantasy artist Donato Giancola in 1996. Producers commissioned him this drawing to use it as a promotional poster for AoS. www.donatoart.com/theadv.htmlMaeve is ideantical to this picture: If I remember correctly this was the first attempt for Maeve's outfit in the show ( I like it ^.^) What do you think about Sinbad? He doesn't looks like Zen Gesner to me. And....the Rainbow Bracialet...is actually a "golden bracialet" ;D ;D ;D I wonder what Ed Naha had in mind when he write the first version of his story .

@firouz, Sinbad
I think there should be a reason for Dermott liking Bryn in the first place since she joined the crew. It would have made more sense that he stayed on Sinbad's shoulder instead of Bryn's arm (the Ladyhawke fan inside me takes the upper hand for a second ;D) or that he went in search of his sister. But instead, he chose to befriend that unknown girl.
Perhaps Firouz is right, if Dermott had already knew Bryn at the time of his curse, this could have make more sense. Suppose that she was basically good, even as a child, and that his Sister brought her along during her wanderings to make her understand she had to join the dark side.
But in Erin, while their elder sisters were at each other throats, Bryn and Dermott became friends. Maeve never saw Bryn, Dermott hide her because he know how much Maeve hated Rumina and that she won't like Bryn either. When Dermott was turned into an hawk, Bryn was desperate and shocked. Then her mother left her husband Turok and her other daughter Rumina and run away with Bryn.
At this point, following Ed Naha's outline, Rumina, to please his father, destroyed her mother home village and killed his sister, who years later was bring back to life somehow and given a rainbow bracialet.
So Dermott knew she thrustworty, but he didn't tell her the truth because he was aware that belonging to a dark family was a burden to her, and that she had always longed for a normal life.
@doubar Sorry, Perhaps I was in a hurry when I put down the previous post ;D ;D
@firouz Wow!! I bow to your imagination.

I like how this thread is going on. There are plenty of storylines for more than hundred years Honestly, I’m for the “after season 2 option” too. It’s way more fitting with all the ideas we came up in those 2 pages. I also agree to start elaborating the dark side consequences first, and then to come back to the light humor of season 1. @firouz You came up with a lot of good points. It was illogical how in season 2 Bryn joined the crew as if she was fallen from the sky, and they never questioned once about her whereabouts. We surely have to find a reason for this. *going to mumble about the matter* About your second point, the “romantic pairing”, sorry if I say this, but I must agree with Sinbad and Doubar. In my opinion Sinbad has always treated Bryn like a little sister, there was no passion between them, and what they briefly had was a bit forced. I think yours is a brilliant plot anyway, and it could be used on another round of the rpg, if we start the story with a different introduction. (Thanks for the link though, I’m surely going to read it. There are still so many fanfictions out there ^.^, if only I had more time……..) @doubar I like how you planned to justify Turok and Rumina’s absence in second season, @sinbad About the coming of Maeve My favourite version is n.3. It’s sounds the most interesting. I like the idea of a Rumina who knows where Maeve and Dim-Dim are but is unable to reach them. I have a small idea on this point: The spell she used to seal Mave into that dimension was so powerful that backfired against her. In this way she lost all her powers, and this would be a justification for her absence during the second season. But if somebody frees Maeve breaking the seal, she can have her powers back. Of course this is just an idea. I think we must listen to Rumina’s opinion because it depends on the way she is planning to develop her character.

Yes guys, I also think it's better that Sinbad finds Maeve as soon as possible. Totally agree with Sinbad about the alien plot. We don't need it. It's better to came up with a magical explanation instead. I've read somewhere, I don't remember if in the "Ed Naha's outline" or in some other interview, that people who wears a rainbow bracialets had died, and were brought back to life because their existences were essential for the light forces. So if the bracialet got broken they will die again (Sorry I don't remember the source) We can take this, but insted of the aliens , there will be other people who provide the bracialets. For example some Dijins-creatures like in "one thousand and one night" or a group of wise wizards who live in a magical dimension. (Have you ever watched "the Thief of Bagdad?, There was a sort of Magical city in the clouds there). Mala could be a member of this magic-spiritual community too, considering that she had the power to defeat Scratch and came back to life for a while. Electra, if you are willing to take both sisters, Bryn could leave the crew for a while. For example, after Scratch comment on the "pedigree" she starts quastioning about her past, and she goes away searching for answers. But I woul like to have her back at some point. I think she could be a nice pairing for Dermott, or for Tetsu (because of the rainbow bracialet)

I like both options and I will be ok with whatever choice you guys decide to follow.
In Option 2 Years ago Merlin & Calvin already developped the idea of an alternate 2 season where Maeve didn’t left the show. If we are going for this, we should try to made up different plots, there surely will be a lot of alternatives, like the evolutionary aspect suggested by Maeve.
But as pointed out by Electra, season 2 introduced elements that would be a pity to ignore.
I like the idea of Rumina’s sister (as long as she has NO romantic relationship with Sinbad), Rongar’s past, the Adventurers, and the most important thing “Mala’s character”, who, in my opinion connected with season 1 with the fact that Doubar had already met Scratch before. (The only thing a don’t like is the alien backstory for the rainbow bracialets).
It could be interesting to see Sinbad taking the initiative, and seeing him searching for Maeve. What if this time is Sinbad who find a way to enter into Dim-Dim and Maeve dimension and bring her back? Is always Maeve who comes back in fanfictions. And of course the after-effects of the dark side thing must be there.
