This ending scene between Maeve and Sinbad is one of my favourite from the whole TV series, maybe even the most favourite. So touching, so beautiful and so sad at the same time. The greatest scene between this amazing couple. Even without the opening of the second season it really looks as a goodbye scene for Maeve. I miss her, the old Sinbad and their relationship so much in the second season...

I really adore the differences in the dealing with this child between Doubar+Bryn (good in this role) on one side and with Sinbad+Firouz (uncertain in this role) on the other. I would be curious on whose side would end Rongar.

A next piece of my story:
He frequently behaved as someone who is lost in his thoughts and he returned back when it was necessary but when he had an opportunity he returned to his thoughts. I saw him smile only few times, it is hard to believe that there were days when he was smiling and laughing all days. Even during the usual merriment of sailors in the ports he sometimes left the company of the others and he was seen standing alone and thinking about something completely unrelated to the situation. There were days when he did not say almost anything only when it was absolutely necessary. He did not spend much time with the others during the similar days, only Doubar sometimes went to him for a few moments but he always returned back very soon. She smiled a little. Now he is looking as someone who got a new life into his veins. He is not in the constant movement as the others but I can swear that I feel this energy coming directly from him. I am quite sure that I know the reason why this happened.. “Bryn? Everything is alright?” sounded the strong voice next to her. She surprisingly realized that she is not looking into the magic book but that she is still looking towards the tiller. Doubar was standing on her left side and he was looking at her with an embarrassed smile. “Of course, Doubar. I am thinking about the fight with...” She realized that Doubar is feeling that she is not completely honest to him at this moment, so she slightly shrugged her head. “Can I join to you?” asked the first mate and pointed at the empty place next to her. She slightly nodded.
Doubar slowly sat down next to Bryn whose look returned to the book. “How is it going?” asked her. “I think that we can use the spell. My own power would not be sufficient but when Dim Dym and Maeve join their power with mine, we should be able to manage it.” She was thinking for a moment and she suddenly asked Doubar “Maeve is a very special woman, is not she?” Doubar hesitated for a moment “One of the best who I have ever met.” he said finally. “A kind woman but the God helps those who would try to get into a conflict with her. Her tongue is as sharp as her sword.” the first mate smiled a little. “And you should see...” “I mean special for Sinbad. I am right, are not I?” interrupted Bryn his speech. They were both silent for a moment. “Yes, she is.” mumbled Doubar slowly after that. He was hardly heard by her. He looked down and he gently touched her shoulder. “I think that I know where it is going. I would not wish to see you hurt, Bryn. I mean...” She smiled a little at him and raised her left hand. “Everything is all right, Doubar. “ She looked towards the tiller one more time. “I would lie if I said that there was nothing. But I always felt that this special place in his heart already belongs to somebody else.” Doubar nodded. “If you needed to talk with someone, you can count with me.” “Thank you, Doubar.” smiled Bryn at him. “He is looking so differently now. But this change looks quite well.” she added. “For me, it is not so new.” Doubar stayed by Bryn a few longer moments and when he felt that the young brunette is comfortable again he slowly stood up. “I have some work to do. But if you needed something...” Bryn patted him on the shoulder with a smile. He went towards the bow where the crewmen Strock, Nectou and Bosley tried to tighten the auxiliary sail. Bryn was smiling a little when she started to mumble the magical formulas again.

At the beginning of The Siren's Song, these three cursed sailors evidently swam towards the ship (the longboat was quite long away from the ship) but their clothes looked completely dry. Fontassel had wet hair but it was all. And about these recycled scenes from The Return of Sinbad, the funniest usage was in Bully when Sinbad and Firouz were looking at the map at the beginning because we can see Mustapha in the crowd's nest for a moment. Mustapha raised up from death for a moment...

Now concerning a Bryn-centred ep: hm, now that's true indeed. There wasn't really one or was there? She was a main character in A Gryffin's Tale and Beast of the Dark. But we didn't necessarily learn something about her there. Maybe though she would have had her own ep in S3, just like Rongar had his in S2? When we think about this, we find more about Maeve in the episodes which were not centered on her (Double Trouble and The Trickster revealed a lot of about her, although these episodes were more orientated on the whole crew) in comparison with Still Life and especially The Ties That Bind (although I like this episode very much, we did not find anything new about her there).

It was mentioned that this creature attacks only people who try to leave the island or who try to harm Mutaro in any way. Why do you think that the beast attacked these two men from the Sinbad's crew at the beginning (men who were sent to search the surrounding)? They did not do anything to him, they did not do anything for leaving of the island, so why they were also killed?

A next piece of my story:
The travel of Nomad was continuing without any serious troubles. The wind was favourable the most of the time, quite strong with occasional absences. It really looked that the ship could arrive to the final destination during two days. All people on the board were in a strange mood, nobody was able to stay calm for a longer time. They were in the constant movement, when somebody sat down for a moment, he almost immediately stood up again. Everyone still had something in his hands and played with it, frequently without own notice. Nobody had the taste to sleep or eat; even talking between crewmembers was minimal. They prepared for the fight with the water creature. Bryn explained to them the whole situation the first day after leaving of Bagdad. “Our magic can significantly weak this monster, but we cannot stop it completely only in three people. It will not have much energy for some attacks, so you should prevent yourself with your swords without bigger problems. It will try to go after me, Maeve or Dim Dym the most. When it broke the concentration of us, its strength increases again. You must be prepared to protect us from it, we cannot do it ourselves. It could interrupt our concentration as well.” “Each of you will get a group for the protection, Bryn.” proclaimed Sinbad. “Some men will be necessary for manoeuvring with the ship.” noted the crewman Nectou. “We still have enough men who will have free hands.” nodded Doubar.
At the end of the first day of sailing, Bryn was sitting on the stairs next to the galley. She was mumbling the spell for the fight with the water creature. Sinbad was still at the tiller and the most of sailors were on the board, they mostly practised some movements with their swords. She stopped with mumbling for a moment and she looked towards the tiller. Although everyone on the board was nervous or excited, Sinbad’s state was completely different. She was not sure how she could call his state of mind but he was very different now from the man whom she knew almost for a year.

One question towards this episode, it looked that this daughter did not need to be present by her victim (she was in the cabin of Bryn when Strock died, but she was not on the board when the first crewman died), but in this case, how her spell really worked? Was it accidentally or intentionally used on this concrete crewman? If it was intentionally used here, why she decided to kill this concrete crewman from all people on the board? He tried to warn Sinbad, but before her father, not before her. There would be only one possible effect of his intervention: the crew maybe would return with them to the original port and landed them here. If it was only about killing from her side, there would certainly be some people in the original port. If it was only accidental killing it would mean that the rest of the crew had the enormous luck this night, do not you think?
And when she brought back the dead people, do you think that she affected their personality as well? Masari behaved quite similarly as during his time on the board and we could see some hints of the fact that he was not such a good guy in the heart before, but these two crewmen looked as good people who would not attack their comrades during the episode.

I have one question for the fans of the crew, I am curious of your opinions to this topic. I will get very soon to the next part of the story, when the crew will try to get people of the hidden island. What do you think when someone from the rest of the imprisoned people would refuse to leave the island for reasonable reasons, would they respect it or is in the character of our heroes to take such people back against their will, even with the usage of the necessary force?

When the crew was deciding if they should tell their adventure to the other members of the crew, Doubar offered Maeve that she should know it was him who saved the world. Why did he want to impress her? Some ulterior motives?

Yes, it makes sense, dear Doubar. So she was able to transform into the Harpy only, she was a human being. If her true form was the Harpy, she would not have the human form on the island. She also tried to persuade the crew once again in the cave, it would be hard if she had this Harpy's camouflage.
You are right, all Harpies looked same, but there was not a reason why she transformed herself into a Harpy in the plot. (the reason is the budget).

Did not seem interesting to you that Alana's true form looked as one of Rumina's harpies? It was only a question of the budget, but when I was younger I suspected if she did not secretely work for Rumina who wished to gain the sword for her biggest wish (which was fulfilled by Scratch one episode later).

I translated it directly from listening of episodes, I was writing there only places where i did not understand very much in hope that i will get some help (which happened from few amazing members). But I could translate it to the English language in the future, if someone had an interest...

Yes, I finished all these scripts mainly from hearing. Occasionally there probably are some mistakes in my traslation, but it should not be anything big. Thank you for your interest, dear Kriss.
