A very bad episode. I am a big fan of sci-fi, but it is not a suitable thing for this kind of TV series.
The character of the local priest was totally predictable, I was waiting for his death whole time.
Doubar acted a little foolishly, did not he? I know that Firouz is a close friend, but he was missing for some time and he behaved like a robot, not like a human being. And without some explanations or discussions with him Doubar followed him to an unknown place. After this situation I expected that Rongar will be more careful, but he made the same mistake.
The one positive thing of this episode: It was interesting to hear Rongar's voice.

Thank you. I think that this song characterizes their lifestyle very accurately. I did not have any episodes from the second season in my computer, but I have them now, so in my next videos you will find the moments from the both seasons.

It was the great episode.
The episodes with Rumina are the best in the whole Tv series. She had the good chemistry with Sinbad and as a negative character always had style and charisma. Only a small number of villians was so dangerous for this crew. Except her, only Scratch (a very powerful devil) and Vorgon (almost nothing can kill him, his only mistake was that he was too impatient).
The plot with Maeve and Caipra was nice. We found something more about our Celt and her internal doubts about the succes of her task. It was confirmed again in The Trickster, when her biggest nightmare was that she will not able to defeat Rumina.
Zen got an opportunity to play something different than the positive character and played it perfectly. His talk towards Omar was great and his encouragement of the crew during the fight was excellent. The expressions of the rest of the crew during Sinbad's speech were great and their attempts to excuse him also.
The scene between Maeve and Rumina (in Sinbad's form) was interesting. Althought why she acted towards Maeve this way, it is not so clear to me.
The scenes between Maeve and Sinbad were great. Especially, their argument during Maeve's spell, the line about the marriage and their shock after their spontaneous embrace and the ending scene of course.
The nice moment was after the disposal of the guards between Doubar and Firouz: "Science!"
Great done episode, with a little fun, and the development of the story between the crew and Rumina.

The both seasons were completely different. Each person has different taste. I like this show in a global scale. There were interesting plots and moments in the second season. But for my taste, the atmosphere, emotions among crew and more interesting plots did the first season memorable for me. I have the strong bond towards the first season. The second season is quite good, but I have not any specific connection to it.

I can not describe, how I was happy when I watched this episode for the first time. It was a few years after the ending of the show (in our country the second season was aired only one time and was not aired completely). After the first episode of the second season I seriously thought about stopping the watching, but I have changed my mind. I hoped that they will find Maeve. And in this episode it looked so hopefully. Until the point with Harpy, I did not stop hoping, that it is really Maeve. But I think that for all fans Maeve and Sinbad (I am one of them) was this episode a certain compensation for the second season.
Usage of their music theme was wonderful.

I think that Doubar would be able to defeat all crewmembers in the fight. Rongar would be able to defeat all members in my opinion, with exception of Doubar, I am not sure about the result of the fight with Sinbad. Sinbad would lose his fight with Doubar, with Maeve or Rongar it could be a fair fight (but it is a hard question with Rongar). A poor Firouz, I think, that the rest of the crew would defeat him in the fight. He was not a bad fighter, but the rest is better in fighting.
The Tim's performance in the Return of Ronin was excellent. I found at this forum one screen from this event and his expression is perfect here.
And the idea the fight between Maeve and Sinbad sounds very interestingly. Do you think that the similar situation could affect their mutual feelings in any way?

I agree, I think that they forgot to the promise, which Sinbad gave in the first season, that he will find Dim Dim.
My disappointment that this was not real Maeve was big. It was fine, that was showed that Sinbad still has some feelings for her, but it looked that the rest of the crew completely forgot to her. I expected a conversation or a mention about her at the end of the episode, for example between Sinbad and Doubar, but there was no conversation.
For me, Maeve was also the best character, together with Firouz. And his character was better written in the first season. More funny, more interesting.

This would be the bad situation for Maeve, when she did not have the opportunity to use her spells. She would probably try a careful defense, but without the help she would be defeated, Doubar is stronger. I was surprised that she was able to prevent so long, her own anger at Rumina probably gave her more strength. In the opposite case I think that Doubar would be able to overpower her until the moment, when she returned into the reality. Maeve would win in the fight without magic against Firouz, with Rongar or Sinbad it could be the equal fight. But she had not any chance against Doubar.
The similar situation happened in the second season, do you remember? When was Firouz possessed by a demon.

The most important thing that this line line was still translated in a funny way, does not it?

And the final idea with the Firouz's invention was interesting. When I watched for the first time, I thought: "How can Sinbad kill him? Vorgon is immortal!" Vorgon could have won if he had waited until the complete sunset. Do you think that Sinbad had a next plan for such a case?

It is hard to fight with yourself.
And the nightmare of Rumina was the great move. She maybe felt loneliness in her life and she could have thought about the change in her life under certain circumstances. Her old form was talking about shooing the people who were important for her and maybe she was important for them. I think that it was the reference to Sinbad. The men's part of the crew may have forgiven her if she really changed, but Maeve certainly not. Her nightmare is the proof.
And the shock of Doubar and Maeve at the fact, that they had tried to kill each other, was very well done. This fact could also affect their friendship badly. Fortunately, this does not happen.

He said in our dubbing: "I do not understand, how this happened to me?"

The great end of the first season. The final battle with Rumina has begun.
Three great villians together, it promised interesting development of the plot, but unfortunately, this plot was not developed more. This was the last episode for Rumina and Turock. They left in the great style.
The relationship between Maeve and Sinbad was great done. Chemistry between them was so natural and it was showed how much their relationship developed during the last year. The scene with the almost kiss was very sweet (I had the taste to kill Firouz for the first time) and the ending scene with Sinbad's promise was very emotional. I have never noticed the Maeve's gesture with the hand, but I found it finally and it was really very gentle. It was a shame, that their relationship was interrupted when it got to the next level.
The beginning scene, where was Doubar kidnapped by Harpy, showed the bond among the crew again.
The scene when Rongar fought with an uppity skeleton, was very funny. It reminded me of Indiana Jones.
And the final scene with living Turock promised interesting things for the second season. Unfortunately were not fulfilled
