Such a sad thing indeed.... Both are hurting and are to proud to let their gaurds down and really talk... Unfortunately WMG won't let me watch it...copyright and all... The synopsis sounds sad tough...and the song Jar of Hearts is a tear jerker anyways...

No one really explained the bees and daffodils, but most seemed to think it was either a place with no natural life, so DimDim couldn't use the ambient nature magic there and had to rely on his own inate powers, or that it was a metaphor...that DimDim was in a place devoid of life and love...

Been a while since this was posted on...
Until recently, a kid of mine has been absolutely obsessed with Percy Jackson and the Olympians. He read ALL 5 books and asked me to do so as well, so he'd have someone to talk to them about.
After the 5 books ended, Rick Riordan, the author, announced that another series, a sequal to PJ&tO, would be out. My student made sure I had a copy of the book, by bugging me endlessly until I bought it, and then talks began again.
The newest book, The Heroes of Olympus Book 2: The Son of Neptune continues the story of Ancient Greek/Romans myths into the 21st century and Percy Jackson is once again caught in the middle of an ancient war beteen Gaia, primordial Goddess of the Earth, her Giant monster children by her 2nd husband Tartarus, and the Olympian Gods and their strongest demigod children.
And in the last few weeks, just finished in time to see the movie, I have read the Hunger Games! I love it! I can't wait to see if the movie and the book match and flow well together!

@ Fire, I'm glad you liked it! I had that idea floating around for a good long while, but I never quite got to writinging it; then I found DL and I got the jolt of inspiration that I needed to write it! Well, I won't say he contacted her directly...he DID contact that crew through Bryn once or twice...I might have taken a few author liberties with that one, but yea, DimDim did make an appearance or two for a few short minutes. Thank you very much! I had always felt that Sinbad would desire to see her again...whether as a lover or a friend...however the show MIGHT have gone on; was really, real. He cares very much for his crew and Maeve is a member of his crew. So even if Maeve and Sinbad never became lovers that S1-ers wanted, he at least, would have desired to see her again to make sure she was alright! [quoteDoubar feeling both frustrated and helpless before his brother’s pain. How Sinbad acknowledge all Doubar has given and sacrificed for him. I couldn’t agree more with your interpretation, I think it totally matches both brothers and couldn’t sound more realistic.
Brothers are equally dangerous and supportive of one another! It's the brotherly code! LOL But, yea, I totally agree; they definately have each other's backs! Ah! Well, I meant that he didn't sleep with the girls (with the exception of Shirez), but made it LOOK-LIKE he did. To me, they just talked and kissed a few times or two and messed with each others hair and clothes...again to make it look-like something happened. An unconscious one on my part, if you got that from the fic; it wasn't totally in the forefront of my mind, but yea! That could definately be a reason why she didn't fully open herself up to Sinbad! Nice catch! [quoteSinbad’s challenge waas particularly interesting when you show how each of the crew CHOSE to stay with him, even if it meant leaving loved ones or other life possibilities behind them. That was very clever of you ! I never really noticed it until now, but now I couldn’t agree more on your interpretation.
Thank! I thought it was a nice plotline to pick up on! I always thought that Sinbad might have felt badly for the crew (Firouz and Rongar and Doubar) who left behind another life to be on his ship and in his crew. One of my favorite fanon phrases! *ponders* Or is it truly canon??? I don't rightly remember.... You'll have to wait and see... Well, I think you might be surprised...but to give you a clue...Maeve's father and uncles were proud that she gardnered such attentions, true, but were even MORE prouder of the fact that she was focused on her Priestess' studies than men! LOL **Every father's dream...their little girl growing up into a strong independant woman who is confident in herself first and then needing a man second! LOL** That I can tell you without any real danger to the fic! ;D You'll have to wait and see!! @doubar, Like I said before....*giggles* And yea, poor Prince Eamon, he's been in a hopeful heartbreak for a couple of years now....poor guy....
