I have to admit, I haven’t watched this in a long while, but if this had been the end of the season, I could have believed it. I would have been terribly upset, but I could see it.

That then-and -now vid is awesome! I love it! It’s pretty cool to see how they have aged from the show, and they have all aged extremely well!

I never got into Clark and Lois with Smallville. I also never got past season 6 though. I have always adored Clark and Chloe; their relationship with so intense that it was almost natural for them to fall in love. I mean, in the original Superman, Clark and Lois don't meet until he goes to work for the Daily Planet, so it wasn't out of the realm of possibility that he'd fall for Chloe as a teen and young adult before going to work at the DP. In any case, Chloe is the one, according to Smallville, who got him interested in journalism!
As for my new fictional couple fav....Outlanders' James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser and Claire Elizabeth Beachum-Randall-Fraser!

Yippee!!!!! That's a bit of me in there; I had a friend once who lost a loved one and refused to talk about it. After a year, I and other friend decided enough was enough, they had to talk so we kind of forced the issue, but in the end it helped; that's kind of where Doubar's thoughts orginated from. Read above bit, but... Aye, I totally agree. Its the person's desicion to either let the pain go or keep it, but they also need to remember that there are others to lean on when their own strength just isn't enough on some days... Ah, yes, that was one of my favorite tie-ins. I always saw the family bond between those three more than with the other two men (Firouz and Rongar); not that there wasn't a bond, there was! But it was seen more readily with Sinbad, Doubar, and Maeve...even Dermott had a bond with the brothers that was pointedily shown to the viewers. Yes, the guilt that he stubbornly refused to deal with, built up higher and higher and until it had no more support to stand behind; its over flowing out and being expressed in various ways...again, I've always felt a bit of realism is desparately needed in all fics, so I made sure it was there in mine.

Thank you! I remember you telling me you've read all the fics on ff.net; that's impressive! Thank you again; I was/am trying to write in a different format than I normally do. Most of the time I write descriptive, but there's a lot of dialogue to go with it. In my new AOS fics, I'm trying to be more emotional rather than vocal. I have always felt, once I got over the shock that the series was over, that S2 left off with a bit of a emotionally-repressed Sinbad a bit. I know, as the lead character, he's supposed to be almost 'perfect', but if he was meant to be such a loving friend/brother like I saw him; then I figured he was probably carrying around some guilt. I, I guess, put a bit of myself into the fic as well. If Bryn was my friend, and I shared the bracelet, I'd feel a bit responsivble too; not to mention the amnesia; I'd feel doubly responsibile. And I always thought that whilst Maeve was strong; it was her knowledge that made her a bit more reliable than Bryn. Not to say that Bryn's magic was wrong or bad! But, to me, Bryn's was always more defensive and more wild-a tie into her natural/organic/earthly ties to magic. Plus, she had no memories, so basically she had no control and was maybe a bit afraid of her own powers....IDK... Well, angstful feelings aside, he's supposed to be the big captain with nothing bothering him; so he didn't want the crew to know just how bad it really was-nevermind that his friends already knew. I'm glad you think it was clever; I do try to tie in as many elements from AOS as I possibly can; not only to make it seemless, but to give ah, I don't know, a tie into a possible 'S3' link of my own design. LOL Well, Doubar did raise him despite DimDim being their teacher; you just can't raise a child and not know how they think and feel. Again, I'm blushing Thank you! I'm happy you liked the ending; I do so hope you continue to read and review the other chapters!

Nope! No worries at all! It fit since she's the High Priestess; it would make sense that she'd be the one to talk some sense into Sinbad. LOL I don't think anyone who is seriously attempting what he's going to do would feel any less nervous and unfit for the job. True, true, Sinbad is special... *shrugs* Thanks, but your reasoning was a good one too; I just thought those scenes were what the phoenix saw when it was free, like I said, and since Sinbad was of the waters the Phoenix showed Sinbad those images to help them...er...bond as it were. So fate had a plan for them this way after all...nice... I'll always read and review girl! You know that! *HUGS*

R&R!! Here it is! ;D AWESOME! Sinbad's uncertainy; his inability to believe his own words to Bryn are COOL and very believeable! LOVE IT! And Maeve's power together with Sinbad drew the Phoenix or only his? Either way GREAT! I LOVE how Sinbad saw the images that the Phoenix saw when he was free? Totally AWESOME! ;D And Sinbad's heartache about him thinking that Maeve had been destined to be the one to free/save the Phoenix was what I had thought for a moment before I remembered the story about how the serphent stopped the firebird! LOVELY! They need one another so much, it's GREAT! ((HUGS)) So, Maeve placed all of herself in her magic to give Sinbad hope that she'd never leave him...quite the step Maeve did there! I LOVE IT! Makes me want them to be together all the more! The eternal fire given to him to give him hope is my fav! POST MORE ASAP! Love ya, Sam

Well... Yea, but then again, we all know that S2 was meant for an older more sexually mature audience...
