Bahaha, Sinbad and Doubar having a tug-of-war fight over some cookies and then sending Dermott to retrieve them? Haha, your mental images are priceless! ;D ;D ;D Thank you! -bows- Now you know why my family thinks I'm nuts! I get mental images such as the above and start laughing hysterically, for seemingly - at least outwardly - no reason! xD And aye, love that scene, too. Hehe, Sinbad does so NOT like Vincenzo!!!!! ;D Really? I thought Sinbad and Vincenzo got along great. Excellent friends and all that. /sarcasm/ xD LOL Elizabeth: Too true! I'm not sure what it is... but something about this pic cracks me up!

I get mental images such as the above and start laughing hysterically, for seemingly - at least outwardly - no reason! xD *snickers* Sounds like something I would do. ;D Though with me it's normally that out of the blue I remember something funny I heard or saw and then start giggling for no apparent reason. xD Really? I thought Sinbad and Vincenzo got along great. Excellent friends and all that. /sarcasm/ xD LOL Oh sure and they live happily ever after. ;D Ehehe, and nice new shot. ^^ There's something amusing about it, indeed. But I can't really put my finger on it. x)

lol xD Giggling for no apparent reason is fun. Sometimes my sisters and I get into these moments of laughing and not being able to stop, even if what was said really wasn't all that funny. Admittedly, that usually happens when we're so exhausticated that everything seems hilarious, but not always. >.> LOL -dies laughing- Ah yes, happily ever after indeed! Glad I'm not the only one amused by that screencap! xD LOL, Sinbad tiptoeing towards the window in the background. xD

LOL! I've always loved that scene. ;D Though, honestly it is beyond me how Vincenzo doesn't notice someone being in his office (though, true, technically he did notice, only Sinbad was fast enough to vanish, lol). Haha.
Bwahaha, and I know such moments. Mum and me used have them every now and then when I was younger. We'd be so exhausted and tired that there were only two choices: start crying or laugh hysterically about anything remotely funny (usually the situation at hand, lol) no matter how pointless it was. xD xD xD
And no, you're certainly not the only one. ^^

haha, yeah, that scene is awesome! xD And it certainly took long enough for Vincenzo to notice someone was in his office! lol LOL, glad to know you also have known such moments. ^_^ And here's another of those screencaps that amuse me for no apparent reason:

Kalani: Here you are. liz-jen.com/tv_shows/sinbad/fanfic.htmlThere are 16 fics/eps in total, and each of them is really interesting. One of them focuses much on the relationship between Rongar, Mustapha and Firouz. I must admit I didn't quite like the change in dynamics, but just because I don't favour friends forta fighting over each other. But don't you worry, they'll all get along. And the read's a really good one. Ah, and LOL for the screenshot! ;D ;D ;D Can I ask you which of these chapters is concentrated on this relationship? I read some of them, not all, i want to correct it during the progress of time, but i am curious of this situation. I do not understand why this situation should bring some tension between these men, it is not possible for Rongar having two best friends? And the rest of the crew was probably also affected by this situation, was not it? On the other hand i recently noticed that Firouz was the only member of the crew who was not in any contact with Mustapha (when i do not count the fact that he had the fun from him when he was defeated by Maeve)

You're welcome, Manche. I'm happy I was able to help you. As for the alt!S2: I'm afraid I don't remember which chapter that was in exactly. It's been so long since I read that fictional season. I really forgot about the details. But I do remember that there was some tension between Mustapha and Firouz. For one did Mustapha return to a world where Rongar and Firouz were now best friends, and for two was Firouz suddenly faced with Rongar's former best friend having returned. I think Rongar himself treated them equally, but it was really rather Mustapha and Firouz who didn't know what to make of that new situation with them both being there at the same time. I'm not sure though if the rest of the crew was affected, too. I do think that at one point Sinbad might have stepped in and talked to Mustapha, but like I said it's been so long. I might also mix things up now. At any rate, they were fine in the end and got along well. If I remember well, Mustapha found his own place within the crew and though still very good friends with Rongar sort-of left the best friend thing to Firouz and Rongs. Yeah, he was the only one without any connection whatsoever to him. Sinbad knew him via Doubar and Rongar was friends with him anyway. Maeve... well, she managed to impress Mustapha and it was only Firouz who had nothing to with him.

It is not so important, i will find it himself... I read about the tension between these men and there were some hints of it in some chapters which i have read so far. I thought if the similar rivalry would be between Maeve and Bryn because of Sinbad, i am not sure but Bryn is quite a calm person and Maeve was able to get on well with similar people in the first season (Serandib, Jullaner), moreover Bryn never seemed too jealous of the women, that moved around Sinbad (or she was able to hide it very well). But it is the hard question, we can only guess. Maeve had a certain distance from Mustapha during the first meeting, probably because of his attitude towards the women on the board (it is the interesting fact that Doubar also had the same problem, i am sure that he and Mustapha understood each other very well, we can only guess how long time they spent together in one prison) but i had the impression that she gained the respect towards him later and she looked quite sad when she saw him die.

Yeah, I have often pondered about that as well... about the 'what if' Maeve came back to join the crew again. And I came to the conclusion that there cannot be a definite answer, because it would all depend on how you interpret her and Bryn's character and most of all their relationship towards Sinbad. If you take sweet and caring Bryn and have her be like a sister to the sailor then I have no doubt she and Maeve would have been great friends. Maybe the Celt would have been suspicious for a tiny while, but as soon as she and Bryn got to talk about it, they would have been fine I think. That's also the version I use for all my fanfics, caus actually I love the thought of Bryn and Maeve being friends. [Oh, actually, this could also work with Sinbad choosing Bryn, and Maeve having fallen out of love anyway. Caus if she and Sinbad are just friends, I can totally see her be happy for Bryn and the captain. Though funny enough in that scenario I cannot see her stay onboard as most likely she'd not want to burden that little family with her destiny... But that's just my POV.] However, things would become different if you made this be a love-triangle in which both women love Sinbad and he eventually has to choose. Depending on how you interpret the characters then, it could well be possible that the two ladies wouldn't get along then at all. And unless all three end up as friends only, I also wouldn't be able to see how that uneasiness (which could just as well border on rivalry) could be overcome...

I would also prefer the first option, that Sinbad would stay as the friend with both and they will be in good terms all, or he would decide for one of them but he would be able to maintain the friendship with the second and this second woman would respect this decision and she would be the friend with both. As I said before Bryn never seemed very jealous when she saw Sinbad with a woman and honestly, the same case was when a man courted to Bryn or he showed affection for her (Mal, Masari, Mutaro) which is the complete opposite what we saw in similar cases with the pair Sinbad/Maeve.
It would be really depended on the fact, which way the characters would be written by screenwriters, but i have the suspicion that if the screenwriters wanted to continue in the way how was second season created we could have probably expected rather the love triangle, some arguments among them, the disruption of the friendly atmosphere among the whole crew (i do not believe that rest of the crew would not be affected this situation at all) and this is not the thing which i want to see.
I had to resolve this question when i created my story, it is not the thing which i could have ignored and i think that i solved it in satisfaction of all three sides.

Yeah, that first option does definitely sound like the best one - with all of them being friends only or with having one couple and maintaining the friendship with the other woman. It's true though - there never seemed to be much jealousy involved when other people had obvious interest in either Sinbad or Bryn. I mean, not that there was none at all, Bryn on her part didn't really look happy in Stalkers after all, but it wasn't the same as with the other pair. But maybe that's also because the script writers were aware of the strong M/S fanbase and thus didn't want to establish the B/S angle too strongly yet? At any rate, as far as S2 was concerned: Naha himself said in an interview that if Maeve had ever returned, then most likely as sort of a demon-hunter who would still be friends with the crew but not travel with them anymore. So, to be honest, I don't think there would have ever been a love triangle. Due to Jacky's departure a constant re-appearance of Maeve would have never been an issue, and thus a triangle wouldn't have been either. Or at least that's why I think. In my eyes, S3 would have further established the B/S angle, maybe bringing back Maeve in the final ep but not letting her re-join the crew (could imagine they'd let her and human Dermott return to their homeland or stay with DimDim and Caipra). Aw, totally looking forward to reading that. And hope I'll find the time to soon.
