Bryn: This was just a brief discussion about the password for the distant land ff.net account.

Anyway, currently I am THE only one who can post stories on ff.net under the name Distant Lands. I am the only one with the password. I am going to change the password so you all can have access. Of course, I would still have to select who I give it to.

Of course, I would still have to select who I give it to. That is just what has been discussed. The members here are reasonable and no one would spam that account, but every member here has the right to access it, so once the password is changed it should be sent to all members via pm so they can make use of it to upload spinoff stories like the one Bryn and Doubar wrote. The password will not be displayed openly, but since this account is called Distant Lands and it was intended as something the whole community has access to, there is no selection.

I think I will only send it to regular members who are actually involved in the rpg, meaning oldSerendib, Maeve3000, Sunkiss, and others won't get it. Derm, Rumini, and the rest of you seadogs will get it. And it will be done in pm.

I personally agree on the sending it only to members that are involved in the play. Not because I don't trust the other ones, but because technically they are not involved in the writing. And, okay, so I'll think of a nice password. alex: Yep, and just like Sarah said: He merely offered his assistance. And that's a nice thing to do. Who in the end will beta-read it however we'll decide on together ... and depends on who has got time and would do us the favour to do it.

Doubar: Ah okay. We could make it sort of a tradition to send the password to members as soon as they pick up the rp-ing.

Doubar: Ah okay. We could make it sort of a tradition to send the password to members as soon as they pick up the rp-ing. Yeah, Doubar or I can do that. But I will do all the initial first sending. Meaning I will send to all the current rp-ers.
