You are rather tall for a woman. Women average about 5''4', while men average 5''8. I (me in RL) am the little one.

Hm, I can't really find some good information on the average size of women in Germany, but telling from my experience, I'm in between. I know quite many who are taller than me just as I know enough who are smaller. But I have to say, most I know are about my size. *shrugs* According to your data I in deed would be above average. *wonders if he really memorized her height*

Bryn: I´m 5 feet 6 1/2 inches and I´d say I´m average size for a German woman. I think 5 feet 4 average more goes for Asian women who are often quite a bit smaller.

@kriss: You're welcome. @sinbad: Hmm, I am not sure if I already asked you but ... what's your height in our measures? Because when I calculate my height I get 5"6,5' too. ;D

@sinbad: Aaaah. Thanx for enlighting me. Well, I am free on Sunday since my boyfriend's off to work then so I might have a look on the show. ;D edit: *has watched the trailer now* Wow, so seems fantasy is in deed back. When you talked about it in some other threads I expected it to be some modern story like X-Men and the like ... but no, this actually reminds me more of the old fantasy stuff (even though it clearly doesn't resemble the common style of the 90s but seems to be more action and effects - orientated [just like modern shows are]). Interesting. Yup. Some good ol´ High Fantasy. You don´t find stuff of the like too often in TV productions. Even though this 2 part Merlin movie with Sean Neall was great. And I liked the 2 part Earthsea movie.

@sinbad: Aww, yeah. The 2 part Merlin was just great. Loved it. About Earthsea though ... as far as I can remember that one didn't really strike a nerve. *shrugs* alex: I know. But I rounded the height so it might be Nili's either a bit shorter or taller than me. And that's why I asked.

alex: I know. But I rounded the height so it might be Nili's either a bit shorter or taller than me. And that's why I asked. But you use metric system, so if it came up with 168.91 cm = 5''6 1/2', then that is how tall you are. Heights and weights are universal and stay the same anywhere in the world. And as a scientist, you should be exact.

alex: *rolls eyes* I know. But I am not 168.91 (and no one is I guess ... or least you will never know since one can hardly measure ones size that accurately - not to mention that the height varies over the day ) but 1,69. And that makes 5"6.5354' ... rounded to 5"6.5' . So my fault is not not being exact but, if at all, being picky again. ;D

Then why did you say you were 5''6'? And yes, that means you are the same height as Sinbad.

Because I let myself being carried away to simply cut off the last numerics (and basically because I haven't been sure about the way you were stating your height. I thought that maybe it is normal to only name the number before the dot. *shrugs* ... btw.: just noticed I once again fell into the habit to put a comma instead of a dot. xD).
