Sinbad wasn´t quite sure what that hand sign meant that Rongar performed, but he could guess its meaning from context well enough and returned the gesture while crooking half a smile, indirectly sealing the promise.
Once more he gazed out at the sea, his hand at his hips, thinking that it would be good to get to Basra once more because it meant distraction and people, something he would not admit he needed more than anything now even though that was the plain truth.
"Good." he said, his smile becoming a bit more honest, then he turned to have another little stray across the deck. Mostly to give Rongar the satisfaction that he was actually trying to rest, not because he really intended to do so.

(((Happens a few hours after Sinbad leaves...)))
Rongar yawned deeply. He was very tired.
Even if he wanted to help Sinbad, he too, still needed his sleep.
Being held captive by Scratch wasn't exactly a restful experience.
As he gazed out to the sea, from the tiller, he smiled lightly.
There in the distance, he could see a few white spots in the sky.
They weren't stars, but more importantly, they were seagulls.
Basra was within three hours from now, if the winds held strong.
Now, if only Sinbad would come back....he could finally sleep!!!

About two hours later, Sinbad decided that it was too late to go to bed. Morning was almost there, if he went to lie down now, he would barely be able to get up again within one or two hours. He decided that he could as well do a brief checkup on the Nomad and check out on the maps in his cabin to make sure there would be no problems lateron.
Tossing a glance over at the tiller he noticed that Rongar yawned and felt his bad conscious sting. He could go to the tiller now, not before he had at least tried to get his head a little freer and some things organised. Then he would of course take over later to stir the Nomad into the port, but until then... He waved towards one of the the younger sailors and advised him to take over from Rongar.

Boy was he tired.
He blearily gazed across the deck of the Nomad and felt another yawn coming upon him. He stiffened his stance to keep the ship on the correct heading, when a younger crewmen, maybe Aman or Kohan; he was to tired to really care who it was, came up to him and gripped the tiller from behind.
"Cap'ain Sinbad ordered me to take over Rongar. You'd best be off ta bed now, eh?"
Rongar noddled. He was simply exhausted.
Sinbad probably wanted to stir his beloved ship into his home port anyways.
Because he was so tired, even as his mind automatically noted Sinbad and Firouz's place by the starboard side, and gave a sleepy and very small wave goodnight, or, rather good morning.
He had only one thought as he passed under the top deck and entered the galley, Sinbad had better not awaken me for anything less than death!
((Will be continued for a short spiel in Rongar's cabin if anyone wants me!))
