You're right about this. "Tan man" is a kind of one shot but the difference is it doesn't contain anything meaningful while one shot still has something to talk about. However, I really don't know if they're really different or I differ them myself. ;D ;D ;D But I see that what happen in "tan man" doesn't change what happen with the characters but make things be a little beautiful. That kind of story, the authors just write about the normal events in the life of the characters and draw the beauty of this. The one shot still solves something in the character's life even sometime it's not clear. The emotion of one shot often deeper than the "tan man" (as "tan man" doesn't focus on the deep of emotion or I can say it doesn't focus on anything. According to the dictionary that word means "sparse", "scattered", "diffused", "disorder", "confused" and I think all those words can be used to describe that kind of literature).
Haha. And I think that's why some of your one shots I don't know what it is. "Tan man" or "one shot". Most of your stories are one shot as they focus on something and deep in emotion but some of them are just "tan man" like the chapter 3 in "silent joy".
However, I think to call one short story is "tan man" or one shot is depend a lot on the reader feeling. If the reader sees it as the meaningful short story it's a story, if the reader feels it's nothing more than a random shot it's just "tan man".

Thank you for uploading TK. I was so fuzzy-brained I nearly uploaded chapter 18 too, but managed to stumble upon something else while trying to locate the next chappie and completely forgot what I was doing. Sometimes being absent-minded works in my favor!

Oh it is thursday! I've lost all the days in the week and barely know when I live  This is the Ninja tag! So named by TK, well, teenage mutant ninja turtle was what she actually said ;D The only reason it's so long is 'cause I didn't want to stick TK with a random adventure plot, so I wrote the random adventure myself. |
