Maeve's Theme

Hi Guys,

I've been meaning to ask, and I'm not quite sure if I already did. This one's regarding the soundtrack/s of the show. There's this particular theme that I think is called: Maeve's theme. It plays during a Maeve/Sinbad scene or even a Dermott's scene. The flute dominates it most of the time and is quite serene. Does anyone know what I'm referring to and perhaps where I might be able to locate it?? I've been searching far and wide with little or no luck

The soundtracks from the show are not able to be download or buy anywhere, too bad.

Although I did have an acoustic version that I found on one of the AOS forums, but lost it somewhere during my OS changes.

Such a shame that you can't get the soundtrack anywhere. The show actually had some nice songs in it. One of the most beautiful without any doubt being Maeve's theme.

I however did some digging and found an mp3 that I edited off the voices and got the background music alone! (Maeve's theme). Don't know how to get it on to here though, so u'all can have access to it.

you can either click "play now" or "download". I just tried it and it worked, but i'm not sure if Zshare keeps the files there temporarily, say for a few hrs or so, before deleting it off

Oh it works.

The sound is more electronical than the actual music (maybe because it's a wav file) It's very pretty though, where did you find it ? Did you extract it from an episode, or someone put it online ?

Oh and we've heard this song quite often throughout season 1 (and even in Hell House season 2), so we kinda know it by heart ... so I was surprised yesterday when I watched Vengence of Rumina to hear a slightly modified version :

I wish I still had my flute, I could try to play Maeve's song. I had learned Skye Boat Song (Speed Bonnie Boat...) when I was 15 ;D

Great! I'm glad it did! You are right, it is more electorinial than the one they used in the series, but I'm glad I found it! Actually, this is the one that I found online many many years ago and saved it, then lost it & only remembered that I sent it to my friend a few years ago who had it in his archives. Luckily he was able to retrieve it and send it back to me. *out of breath* Lol

Yes, there is a slightly modified version in the Vengence of Rumina. I picked that up too. I suppose they altered it a bit to parallel with the action/mood of the scene? ..I'm not quite sure myself.

No, I don't play any instrument, but back in high school we had to for our music class. We had learned the Skye Boat Song and I was amazed when I heard it on AoS !

You mean the moment where Sinbad and Maeve *almost* kiss ? I reckon Maeve's theme simply became *their* theme after some time - or at least that's my impression.
