Dermott!! How are you, dear? Wow, that drawing is simply breath-taking! It carries everything I tried to portray in my project, the sadness, the longing, the pain...I feel very honored that it has inspired this in you! It's wonderful! I'm putting it as a desktop! And the little celtic-knots in the corners, I have a small table adorned with the same designs! I'll post a pic if you want! Again, it's absolutely beautiful! Great job! |

Girls, thank you so much, I’m glad you like my pic.  FirelandThanks alot Fire.  I’m glad she is showing emotion on her face. I’ve often troubles in drawing expressions, since I have a cartoonish style ^^; Me too.  My heart had been broken for years since season 2 aired, there was plenty of angst even if Sinbad never moaned openly, and Maeve wasn’t there. Maybe I’m just channeling their sadness through fanworks because of what I couldn't to see at time.  @doubar Do not worry dear, there will be plenty of time for dA when you’ll be back home.  I’m glad it conveys the right emotions, but actually it’s above all Maevelynn’s credit, since her insight is so detailed and passionate, and made me feel as if I was watching what season 2 failed to deliver. It made me all dreamy ehehe. Oh wow, I don’t use skype, But I didn’t know it could avoid internet restrictions. That’s why I think censorship will never really work. People will always find ways to trick it. @ Kriss Thank you so much Dear. And of course you can use my pic, what inspired me to was Maeve’s pool idea, but also your pic promo tread here. Ah, and by the way, I had to reduce the size for dA, so if you need an HQ version, or the one without watermarks and frames, just tell me . I can’t wait to watch your project. @dermott: True that. ;D And well, I'd say you made Maeve's vision become reality with your amazing artwork. So credit really goes to both of you. Concerning skype: well, it cannot avoid restrictions per se. But if the one you're skyping with has access to a site, then he can share their screen with you - i.e. you get to see what's on their screen which again may enable you to avoid restrictions (hope my babbling makes sense xD). Hehe. ^^ |

Wheeeee, after months of not even touching my picture-editing program I've finally found inspiration to make a new fanart. Well, it's featuring originals only, but therefore it's a (hopefully) nice new promo pic for DL. ;D I really hope you like.  Btw.: I know, I know, they all look so stern... but hey, try and find a pic of a smiling Ardeth. There's only one scene in the whole two movies where he smiles (well, okay, two if we count the post-bus-driving-scene), and that's in the middle of the night and thus no good footage at all. Anyway, I might just do a happy Kalani/Kate pic to make up for that. ^^ Oooh, and Kate... you better get in touch with the two merchants or else this promo pic is completely pointless.  xD P.S.: After I had finished working on it I realized it might have been better to not add the Adventures of Sinbad part to it, but only DL. It was too late to change it though. Uh well, now people who see that will go all "WTF? Sinbad? What did those guys take?" but what the heck... xP |
