I can't help it. When I write I always need to inspire myself from actors that fit the character I'm creating. Ian as Gandalf was the perfect Bayard! As for Orlando, I too, prefer him as the good guy because of POTC, but when I saw this sort of evil-looking pic of him, he instantly matched for Drake's role! That's cool! I guess I never really thought about actors that might fit the characters I mention. But maybe that is because I hardly ever invented characters that were as fleshed out as yours seem to be. *blush* I can imagine, it's definitely helping a lot to have a detailed mental picture of the person you want to draw - and could there be more detail than having a foto or art? So yeah, I think this whole concept to be pretty cool! And Gandalf is indeed perfect. Like I said: I can so well picture him as DimDim's brother. Hah, and looking forward to Drake then. Which I can totally understand! It's plain beautiful. Lol, I guess it's really less amazing than what you think it to be right now, but still I'd of course feel honoured to have you give it a go. The foundation that I mentioned earlier won't be elaborated on until later chapters though, but once we reach them I hope you'll like the idea. Wow. That sounds totally awesome. And really, there's no problem about setting things in. It just adds depth to the story after all. Plus, we know from your rp-posts already how great you are with emotional and in-character works - I really can't wait to see the result of all your efforts. So be sure that I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, dear. I'm sure that you'll manage to bring it all down on paper!!!

Yo ho, mateys!! Quick notifications!!
1. Just to let you know that I've uptaded my Missing Scenes series on fanfiction.net! Check out the new chapters if you want: www.fanfiction.net/s/10999458/4/Missing-scenes-Season-1
2. About the other major story that I'm working on and that I spoke of some 4 years ago (gosh, has it really been that long?!) I DID NOT give up on it!!! In fact, my goal is to finish writing the first 52 chapters so I can have enough stuff to post every week for an entire year!! But I'm already done with 35 chapters and I'm dying to start posting, so I might give in before I reach the 52...
Dear lord, you guys have no idea how excited I am to share this huge story with you!! It has evolved so much throughout the years and I'm so proud of it! It's a trilogy and it will have hundreds of chapters for sure, which means it will be years before I finish it completely, but I'm trying real hard to write everyday so you can start reading it soon!!
So stay tuned for:
Touch of Destiny Part I: The Fire Maiden Part II: Collision Part III: The Last Kallen

I already read and reviewed. Holy cow, 52 chapters and 32 are already written? How do you manage that? It took me years to complete my lousy 22 chapters of RotP, and don't even get me started on my DoctorWho story (two years in, and I'm still at ch17 *.* ). Really, you and Nili are amazing! P.S.: Just a fair warning - there is no way I will be able to keep up with one chapter a week. As it is, I am grateful I can start catching up on story updates that have filtered in over the last three months! O.o So, just in case you do start posting weekly, you know why it might take me some time till I r&r.

Maeve, my sister, I had really bad weekend behind me and still feels like....wrrrr.... and today I came around DL and read your Missing Scenes - you made my day - made me feel better. It is so Maeve and Sinbad The Eye of Kratos is my favorite. The night scene is something I would love to see on tv. Loves them Thank you p.s. small reflection The Beast Within part gives a new sense to my fan fic with the song www.fanfiction.net/s/11562525/1/You-flee-my-dream-come-the-morning

Doubar: Honestly, I don't know how I manage it myself XD When my muse is on overdrive, I lose a lot of sleep hours because I get carried away late at night. I just try to discipline myself to write a little bit everyday, even if it's crap, just so I have an outline for the next day where I write some more and try to fix the initial draft. And don't worry about keeping up every week. I totally understand! Although, at some point I can assure you you will be dying to read every new chapter to know what happens next! Kriss: Aww, I'm so glad my scribbles could shed some light on your weekend, Sis. And all my stars!!! I remember reading this story of yours a while ago on the bus!! "These scars long have yearned for your tender caress..." Wow. Indeed, there's a connection right there!

Yes! I watched the clip on youtube! The melody is so sad I could easily imagine Sinbad sitting there and thinking about Maeve, missing her like crazy.

Can't wait to read this new story of yours, Clem Is that possible that one of your stories is not on fanfiction.net anymore?

I'm glad you're excited about my new story! Aye, I took down 'Three Days' a couple of weeks ago...I wrote it years ago back when I was still learning how to write and when I re-read it recently I cringed so much that I took it down

Dear Maeve, these missing pieces from the season one look soo well. I can't wait to read it. And I am curious of your big story as well. I read a lot of interesting stories from fans of Sinbad and all of them were fantastic, I am sure that this won't be an exception. I think that it is possible to create some missing pieces for almost every episode. I was personally thinking for example about watching of events from the second half of The Village Vanishes from the other side of the wall (from the point of the view of Dermott maybe, he was the first disappeared crewmember), or a scene between Maeve/Doubar from Trickster as a reaction to their fight.

Maeve: Oh, I know the feeling of cringing about your old works. Sometimes, I don't even dare look at my oldest ones. On the other hand, that's where I came from, where I started. So up till now I kept them online, if only for rememberance. (Though I'm REALLy, REALLY glad the very first fanfic ever that I published is in German and pretty much forgotten in some old archive because... heavens, that one was embarassing and cringe-worthy! x). manche: Oh gosh, do write these scenes! These are fantastic ideas.

All my stars, I am SO sorry for replying so late! Manche: Those are great ideas for missing scenes! I never thought about it before! I'll make sure to read them if you ever write them down! Doubar: Haha! Too bad it's in German, I would have loved to read it! XD But aye, I understand what you mean. I still cherish my very first fanfics because it's where it all began and I can see all the huge progress I've made through the years. It's a strange mix of cringe-worthiness and gratification! XD

*waves to all*
Hi guys, I need your opinion!
I have about 40 chapters written down for my huge fanfic Touch of Destiny, and I've been debating for weeks now whether to start posting or not, at a pace of about one chapter every week. The problem is, on the one hand I am dying with excitement to share it all with you and subsequently draw my motivation to write with your feedback. On the other hand I am terrified that a year from now, at some point, I won't have enough material written to keep up with the pace of posting every week, and as a reader I HATE it when writers go on hiatus for an undetermined amount of time.
So what do you guys think? Should I start posting? Should I wait until I have at least completed the first part of the trilogy completely? But that implies at least another 50 chapters to write...
I am so confused. What should I do?
