Here you can find a list of already existing npcs and a collection of faces to choose from* when you need such a character to interact with.
As soon as you have created a npc please let me know so that I can add them to the existing minors.
*Please note that of course you are always free to choose another actor/actress to portray your npc, given the same one is not already playing an existing figure. The compilation is merely meant to help in case you don't want to spend much time searching
Already existing npcs
Asim
- up for grabs -
Asim is a merchant who once lived in Bagdhad but moved to Basra later on. He's got many friends amongst other merchants and amongst the sailors that ship his goods. Kalani he got to know quite a while ago and has every now and then traded with her, too. Asim and the young woman are good friends.
Majid
- A regular character in the play now, and taken over by Beth. -
Majid is a young merchant who also owns a crew and a ship. Often enough he, himself, sails the seas in order to find new places to trade at and new and exquisite goods to sell. He usually is rather secretive - prefers to observe and learn.
There are only few other merchants he trusts, but Asim is one of them.
Majid descends from a desert tribe and as it is common amongst his poeple, he keeps a barbary falcon.
Connor
- up for grabs -
Connor is one of Majid's few friends and captain of the merchant's ship - the Desert Rose.
Having the freedom to choose on his crew, possible passengers and the route he takes to his destination ports, Connor works rather autonomically.
His character matches that of his friend in regards to him being rather secretive about his past, and cautious when it comes to strangers. The latter doesn't reach the same level as with Majid though so that people will have an easier time getting in touch with the captain than is the case with his merchant friend.
In general Connor can often come across as rather gruff, but if in the right company he can be quite a fun and relaxed person to be around.
Hakit
also known as: Baldy
One could say Hakit is the epitome of a ruffian: He's rude, smug and has no respect for women. If something doesn't please him, he's quick with drawing his sword and starting a fight. His quite impressive statute unfortunately gives him quite some advantage in such quarrels provoked by him.
Hakit will usually be seen together with some friends, most of whom see him as their leader.
